What are Legends Cards?
Legends were included in FUT 14 and since then they are still an exclusive content for XBox One and XBox 360 gamers. The players of these cards are some retired greatest football players of all time.
The selection of the greatest legends of football has always been a controversial issue in the community. EA does not always choose the best players but this is justified by the necessity of licenses for each player, since they are no longer represented by any club. As the EA budget is limited, they do not always achieve the image usage rights of the true football legends.
The chemistry of legends are slightly different from other players. They link well with other legends and team mates / managers with the same nationality. In the case of managers there is a league card ‘legend’. In FIFA 17, it is much easier to build squads with legends because since last year they link well with today’s players. You only need to pair Nationality between a player and a Legend to create the strong green link on the pitch.

When FIFA 17 Legends Cards will be available?
The 76 FIFA 17 Legends cards, including the ten new legends, are all available in the game since Day 1. They are inserted into FIFA 17 Ultimate Packs since but you can also find them in the transfer market.
In the draft mode, only a few legends are available in each week. Every Monday, at 6pm (UK time), a new group of legends replaces the old one.
FIFA 17 Legends Cards Ratings and Stats
How big are the ratings and stats?
These white cards work in a very similar way of regular cards but they replicate the attributes based on players’ skills and flair during the peak of their careers. The ratings range between 86 and 95.
As the game progresses, users can change many of the card features such as the preferred position and preferred chemistry style. However it is not possible to improve the rating or the stats in a permanent way.

What happens to the Legends cards’ prices?
The evolution of FIFA 17 Legends cards prices is similar to the most of the other cards.
Pelé card, the most expensive one, is sold around 10 million coins until the Christmas and for half price six months later. In the last weeks of the game, his price goes up again. In the other hand, the least popular legends are sold for more than 250k coins when the game is released and less than 100k coins in the end of the season. Their price do not recover in the end as it happens with the best legends.

Legend players will at least have a weak link with every player in FUT 17.
