What is the FIFA 18 Path to Glory Promotion?
After the Ultimate Scream and before the Black Friday, there is always a FUT event. Usually it is the Movember, but this year it was replaced by the FIFA 18 Path to Glory.
The main focus of this brand new FUT promotion are the live items. According to Electronic Arts, these cards update automatically, whether they are in your Club or listed on the Transfer Market. However, this is not the only offer of this promotion. During this week, you can also find new squad building challenges and promo packs.
Starting November 10, for a limited time, a selection of 25 players contending for a spot on their national team will be available in packs as special Path to Glory items. While each player fights to prove his worth throughout the current season, these items will get automatic upgrades for every Team of the Week, Man of the Match, Hero, European Team of the Tournament or Record Breaker they earn.
These Live Items are a kind of OTW cards specially designed for the World Cup Russia 2018. Once 23-man national squads are announced in early June, players who have made their country’s final squad will have their Path to Glory Contender item automatically updated to be a Path to Glory Selected item. The selected items will continue to get upgrades based on certain national team performances throughout the summer.

No, it won’t happen. PTG ratings can only go up, depending on the performance of the players in the World Cup.
Do PTG Cards get an update if the player is in the TOTS?
