Jordi Alba has amazing stats and, for that reason, he is our first choice to play on the left side of the defence. However, Marcelo is also an interesting player. He is not as fast as the Barcelona player, but is better in almost everything else, including skills. Choose the one that better fit your needs. Alba looks more a true left back, while Marcelo is great to play as LWB or even as a kind of midfielder. There is also Ferland Mendy, that only need to improve his passing stats to become the best LB of this league.
Gayà and Firpo are two great choices for low budget squads but if you want to pay even less, Berchiche is probably the best value for money of LaLiga.
