For all those players who plan to build a FIFA 20 Serie A squad, we’ve conducted an extensive analysis on the best players and suggested squads for different budgets.
Building a team is the biggest challenge in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, since the budget may not allow it, but it needs to be a team designed for your style and needs.
When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show you who are the best players to choose.
It’s also important to check if the player you choose fits the formations you like to play in. For example, a good full-back will be useless if the player only uses a formation with three defenders.
Last but not least, you should try to get the maximum chemistry possible. Most of the players base their squads on a single league or nation, but the most experienced ones are able to build hybrid teams without hurting chemistry.

Besides that, there are several factors we don’t know that influence the choices, such as budget, formation, custom tactics, instructions, style of play and player preferences.
Another important point that must stay very clear to whoever is reading this guide, it’s about some criteria we used:
Only Gold Players
Silver and bronze players are not taken into account in this guide. Most of them are not good enough to replace the gold ones.
Only Regular Players
IF and special items are not taken into account in this guide. Most of them can’t be considered good value for money and should only be used by players with a good budget.
Only Normal Players

Handanovic is one of the best goalies you can use in FIFA 20. It’s natural to see him on our unlimited budget squad.
In our opinion, Manolas and Koulibaly are the best centre-backs of this league. Chiellini is not anymore in his best years but is still an option available. This league doesn’t have quality right-backs. The best one is Florenzi. If you feel uncomfortable with him, you should try another formation or a player from another league (an Icon would be great!). In the other side, things are much better. Alex Sandro is ‘only’ one of the best LB of the entire game.
There are several good players to play as defensive midfielders. Our favourite is Allan. Douglas Costa is an easy choice for the left side but on the right side of the attack, we could have there Cuadrado or Lozano. Dybala is untouchable is the support to the attack.
In the attack line, Ronaldo is obviously there but the other player depends on your preference. Mertens and Insigne are great players to score and assist but if you want someone more fixed on the box and able to score with the head, Lukaku is who you need.
Once all players have reached maximum individual chemistry via loyalty (achieved by each player after 10 matches for your club or by being pack pulled), you can go without a manager for your squad. They’ll be of no use while wasting contracts.

On the defence, Handanovic and Florenzi, the best choices for their positions, are cheap enough to remain on our squad. Godin and Skriniar are not the fastest CBs but they defend very well. You will be safe with them. Theo Hernandez, on the left, is the lastest man of the back line.
For the centre of the midfield, we have chosen Nainggolan. After all these years, he is still a great player. He will be the first man to defend and the first one to attack. Pjanic on the right and Alejandro Gómez on the left, will add even more quality to the midfield.

Pau Lopez is our choice for the goal. It won’t be because of him that you will lose. Asamoah, Romagnoli, Murillo and Lazaro complete the defence. However, if you feel that Asamoah is too slow, you can replace him by Mário Rui.
In the midfield, Zielinski and Bonaventura complement each other well. Alexi Sanchez on the left and Bernardeschi on the right fill the wings in order to assist Mandzukic and Lautaro Martínez, two of the best players of this team.
