BID BUMPING
The same as Price Jacking or Bid Jacking. Scamming technique where, at the end of an auction, somebody with separate account and that owns a player’s card, raises the price massively hoping that somebody will bid by mistake.

Popular name given to silver Brazilians players.
BRONZE
One of the three levels of cards. In the case of players’ cards, it corresponds to those with ratings up to 64.

Coins – Object of exchange that has value in the FIFA Ultimate Team market.

Centre Attacking Midfielder – player position.
CARDWEIGHT
Metric used to estimate how often a particular card is traded on the FIFA Ultimate Team marketplace.

Dribble – one of the six main players’ technical attributes.

Electronic Arts – the creators of the FIFA series.
FIF
Fourth In Form – name given to the cards that were IF by the fourth time.
FIT
Fitness – index which evaluates the players’ physical state.
FUT
FIFA Ultimate Team – game mode of FIFA series.

GENERATIONS
FUT Web Online feature that let’s you show your players of differents FIFA Ultimate Team versions.
GG
Good Game – message sent to an opponent after what you consider to be a good game.
GK
Goalkeeper – player position.
GOLD
One of the three levels of cards. In the case of players’ cards, it corresponds to those with ratings between 75 and 99.
HAN
Handling – one of the six main goalkeepers’ technical attributes.
HANDICAP
A theory about how weaker teams are given an unfair advantage against stronger teams.
HEA
Heading – one of the six main players’ technical attributes.
HH
Happy Hour – specific time periods in which packs may be cheaper and in which may be more likely to get valuable cards in packs.
HYBRID
Team formed by players from two leagues.
IF
In Form – name given to the not-regular cards with attributes improved.
IFn
IF Card of a player that gets this IF card by the n time (n is a number). Example: IF2 is the same as SIF.
iMOTM
International Man of the Match – player who receives a very limited edition purple card (IF), based on his real performance by his national team.
IRL
In Real Life – term used to talk about players not on FUT, but in real life.
K
Thousands (of Coins).
KIC
Kicking – one of the six main goalkeepers’ technical attributes.
LB
Left Back – player position.
LM
Left Midfield – player position.
LW
Left Wing – player position.
LWB
Left Wing Back – player position.
MOR
Morale – index which evaluates the players’ mental state.
MOTM
Man of the Match – player of the week who receives a very limited edition orange card (IF), based on his real performance during the previous week.
MSP
Microsoft Points – official virtual currency for xBox Live.
NIF
Not In Form – expression used to refer to a regular card of a player that has IF versions.
ORIGIN
Electronic Arts Store.
OVR
Overall Rating – index which evaluates the players’ quality.
PAC
Pace – one of the six main players’ technical attributes.
PACK
Group of cards sold in FUT Store in exchange for coins or money.
PAS
Passing – one of the six main players’ technical attributes.
PC
Personal Computer – one of the platforms that can be played FUT.
POS
Position – one of the six main goalkeepers’ technical attributes.
PRICE FIXING
Technique of acquiring a high amount of the same card, fixing the market price of that card and getting a high profit.
PRICE JACKING

Right Back – player position.
REF
Reflexes – one of the six main goalkeepers’ technical attributes.
RES
Reserves – players who belong to the squad but that do not play or sit on the bench.
RM
Right Midfield – player position.
RW
Right Wing – player position.
RWB
Right Wing Back – player position.
SHO
Shooting – one of the six main players’ technical attributes.
SIF
Second In Form – name given to the cards that were IF by the second time.
SILVER
One of the three levels of cards. In the case of players’ cards, it corresponds to those with ratings between 65 and 74.
SKILLS
Technical ability. Usually used to talk about dribbling.
SPD
Speed – one of the six main goalkeepers’ technical attributes.
ST
Striker – player position.
STAR RATING
Index which evaluates the squads quality by a star rating system (between zero and five).
SUB
Substitutes – players who do not start playing but that can get in during the match.
SWEATING
Cheap Play – methods to score easy goals on FIFA.
TIF
Third In Form – name given to the cards that were IF by the third time.
TOTS
Team of the Season – selection of the best players that, every season, receive upgraded blue cards (IF), based on their real performance on the previous season. Used to distinguish from TOTY’s for the calendar year.
TOTW
Team of the Week – selection of the best players that, every week, receive upgraded black cards (IF), based on their real performance on the previous week.
TOTY
Team of the Year – selection of the best players that, every year, receive upgraded blue cards (IF), based on their real performance on the previous year.
TRADE PILE
Place reserved for the items we want to trade in FUT market.
UP
Upgraded – regular cards update to reflect the real life players’ performances.
WATCH LIST
Place reserved for the items we want to watch during an auction.

WORK RATE
Parameter that affects how much the player runs and works up and down the pitch.
