Collector’s Book

The FUT Gallery is a new collection and progression feature introduced in FC 27 Ultimate Team. It permanently records eligible Player Items acquired during the season, allowing you to build themed Sets, showcase your collection and earn rewards.

Most Player Items obtained from Packs, the Transfer Market, Objectives, SBCs and rewards can be added to your Gallery. Loan Items are not eligible, while an Evolution Item is represented by the original base Item that entered the Evolution.

Once recorded, an Item remains in the Gallery even if the playable card is later sold, discarded or submitted into an SBC. The Gallery entry is only a record and cannot be used in matches, traded or returned to your Club.

Registering an Item does not consume or duplicate the original card. It remains available in your Club until you decide to sell, discard, use or submit it.

The same registered Item can be used simultaneously in multiple compatible Sets. For example, one Declan Rice Item can contribute to both an Arsenal Set and a Premier League Set without being removed from either collection.

Items collected in previous Ultimate Team titles are not imported. Every FC 27 Gallery starts empty and records only eligible Items acquired during the FC 27 season.

How the FC 27 FUT Gallery Works

How the FUT Gallery Works

The FUT Gallery is organised into eight Categories containing 110 Sets. Categories cover different areas of Ultimate Team, including leagues, rarities, campaigns and Custom Sets.

Each Category contains themed Sets that can be completed with eligible Player Items already registered in your Gallery. For example, the Leagues Category contains ten competitions, while each League Set requires 30 compatible Items.

Items can be added manually, selected through the Optimise option or acquired directly through the Transfer Market search available from the Set screen. You can also swap Items whenever you want to improve the composition.

Adding an Item to a Set does not consume the card or remove its Gallery record. You can continue using the playable card in your squad, sell it or submit it into an SBC without losing the registered entry or its contribution to completed Sets.

The Gallery Summary displays your Gallery Level and Total Score, alongside the number of Categories completed, Sets completed, S Rank Sets, registered Items, Holographic Items and First Owner Items.

Every completed and improved Set contributes towards your overall Gallery Level. This creates a long term progression path that continues as you register new Items, improve Set Grades and complete more Categories.

Set rewards are unlocked by reaching specific Grades. Depending on the Set, these can include Gallery Tokens, cosmetics and other rewards. Gallery Level milestones provide additional rewards as your overall collection develops, including opportunities to earn Holographic Items.

Gallery Tokens can be redeemed in the Gallery Token Store, whose selection evolves throughout the season. Rewards can include Kits, Badges, cosmetics and Hall of FUT Items, a new historical Item type celebrating memorable players from Ultimate Team history.

On PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, the Gallery Hub serves as the main Ultimate Team environment. It provides a three dimensional space where Player Items, favourite Sets and other Club content can be displayed.

The appearance of the Gallery Hub evolves alongside your collection, from Bronze, Silver and Gold Items to Campaign Items, Heroes, ICONs and Holographic Items.

Custom Sets provide an additional way to arrange and showcase favourite players or personally selected themes. Unlike progression focused Sets, these displays are primarily designed to personalise the Gallery and represent your own Ultimate Team journey.

Set Score and Grades

Every registered Player Item has an Item Score based on its Overall Rating. The same scoring scale is used for Streamlined SBCs, so Items with the same rating generally provide the same base Score, regardless of whether they are standard or special versions.

For example, in the FC 27 Beta, a 91 rated Item provided 10,000 points, a 90 rated Item provided 6,000, an 88 rated Item provided 2,000, an 84 rated Item provided 350 and a 75 rated Item provided 50. Holographic Items contribute more than their regular counterparts.

The Item Scores of every card included in the Set are combined to produce the Base Score. Special status alone does not necessarily increase this value. A standard and a special Item with the same Overall Rating can provide the same base Item Score.

The final calculation also includes Bonus Tags. These reward specific combinations or properties within the Set and are added separately to the Base Score:
  • First Owner;
  • Golden;
  • Team of the Week;
  • Same League;
  • Same Nation;
  • Different Nations;
  • Different Clubs.
Each Tag has its own activation conditions. A highlighted Tag is active and contributes additional points, while an inactive Tag provides no bonus. An Item can help activate several Tags at the same time.

First Owner does not increase the individual Score of a Player Item. Instead, including enough eligible First Owner Items activates the corresponding Bonus Tag, which is then added to the Set total. Transfer Market Items remain eligible and provide their normal Item Score, but do not count towards the First Owner Tag.

The calculation used to determine the final result is:

Total Score = Base Item Score + Bonus Tag Score

For example, one Premier League Set produced a Base Item Score of 38,545 and a Bonus Tag Score of 18,378. This resulted in a Total Score of 56,923 and a B Grade.

After a 91 rated Team of the Week Item was replaced by a 75 rated Gold Item, the Base Item Score decreased to 28,595. The Team of the Week Tag was also deactivated, reducing the Bonus Tag Score to 12,184. The new Total Score was 40,779, resulting in a C Grade.

This means that replacing one Item can affect both parts of the calculation. A lower rated Item reduces the Base Score, while the loss or activation of a Tag can also change the Bonus Score.

Sets can be improved throughout the season by swapping Items, using Optimise and selecting Regrade. This recalculates the Base Score, active Bonus Tags, Total Score and final Grade.

In the Premier League Set shown in the FC 27 Beta, the Grade thresholds and rewards were:
  • D Grade
    10,000 points and 25 Gallery Tokens;
  • C Grade
    25,000 points and 75 Gallery Tokens;
  • B Grade
    50,000 points and 150 Gallery Tokens;
  • A Grade
    125,000 points and 300 Gallery Tokens;
  • S Grade
    300,000 points and 500 Gallery Tokens.
Grade requirements and rewards are displayed within each Set and may vary between different Gallery collections.

Hall of FUT Items can be available through the Gallery Token Store and selected FC 27 offers or rewards. Their exact availability depends on the Item and the content active at the time.
Holographic Items are rarer visual versions of eligible special Items. They have the same Attributes and in match performance as their regular counterparts, but contribute more to Gallery Sets. There are two types, Regular and Pristine, and each eligible Item can have only one of these Holographic versions.
Regular Holographic Items feature an animated foil effect. Pristine Holographic Items have a more premium presentation, including the player’s name displayed in a stylised font. This treatment is not the player’s real signature.
The Gallery Level represents your overall collection progression. Completing Sets and improving their Grades contributes towards this level and unlocks milestone rewards.
The Summary displays your Gallery Level and Total Score, as well as the number of Categories completed, Sets completed, S Rank Sets, registered Items, Holographic Items and First Owner Items.

Custom Sets are personal displays created with favourite Player Items or themes selected by the user. They are primarily intended for showcasing your collection and are separate from the standard progression focused Sets.
