Solving an FC 27 SBC yourself can often be more efficient than copying a published solution. The best approach depends on whether the challenge follows the traditional squad format or uses the new Streamlined SBC system.

For traditional SBCs, you must build a squad that satisfies all listed conditions, which may include chemistry, leagues, nations, clubs, positions, item types or squad rating. For Streamlined SBCs, the objective is usually to submit eligible Player Items until their combined SBC Score reaches the required target.

Identify the SBC Format
Before submitting any items, check whether the challenge requires a complete squad or a total SBC Score. Traditional and Streamlined SBCs use different completion methods, so solutions created for one format cannot necessarily be applied to the other.

Understand Every Requirement
Read all conditions carefully. A Streamlined SBC may impose a minimum OVR on each submitted item, while a traditional SBC may require players from particular leagues, nations or clubs. Meeting the total score or squad rating is not enough if another requirement remains incomplete.

Calculate the Required SBC Score
In Streamlined SBCs, each eligible item contributes a score based on factors such as its Overall Rating and rarity. Compare different combinations before submitting anything. Several lower rated items may cost less than one high rated item, although minimum OVR requirements can limit the available options.

Use Partial Progress
You do not need to complete a Streamlined SBC in a single submission. You can submit unwanted items immediately and return later when you have enough remaining score. However, always confirm each submission carefully because submitted items cannot be recovered.

Make Use of Duplicates
Streamlined SBCs allow multiple versions of the same player, including duplicates, to contribute towards progress. This makes duplicate storage and untradeable rewards particularly useful, since these items can be submitted without forcing you to build a conventional squad around them.

Protect Valuable Items
Do not judge an item only by its OVR. Before submitting it, check whether it is tradeable, valuable on the Transfer Market, useful in your active squad, eligible for an Evolution or needed for another SBC. Use untradeable duplicates and unwanted Club items first whenever they provide suitable value.

Use SBC Fodder Efficiently
High rated items that are inexpensive relative to their rating are commonly known as SBC fodder. In Streamlined SBCs, their value also depends on how much SBC Score they provide. Compare the market price with the score contribution instead of looking only at the player’s rating.

Consider In Form and Special Items
Some challenges may require a specific number or type of special items. Their prices can increase sharply after a relevant SBC is released, so avoid submitting them unnecessarily. When they are available in packs and supply is higher, they are often cheaper to acquire.

Use Chemistry Only When Required
Chemistry links, player positions and hybrid squads remain important for traditional SBCs. They are generally unnecessary in a Streamlined SBC unless explicitly included in its requirements. Do not pay extra for chemistry when the challenge only evaluates eligible items and their combined score.

Invest Carefully
Upcoming Player SBCs, Upgrade SBCs and Marquee Matchups can increase demand for particular ratings, leagues, nations or item types. Buying relevant items before demand rises may be profitable, but official FC 27 requirements can differ from previous editions, especially because more challenges may use SBC Score instead of squad rating.

Avoid Release Hype
Prices frequently rise immediately after a popular SBC is released because many players attempt to complete it at the same time. Unless the challenge is close to expiring, waiting for supply to recover may reduce the total cost.

Whether you use an online solution or build your own, always compare the reward with the real cost of the items being submitted. FC 27 Streamlined SBCs reduce the need to copy an exact squad, but choosing the most efficient combination of items remains an important part of completing challenges successfully.
