The name of your club is how you are represented in the FC 27 Ultimate Team ecosystem.
Team Name
Your team name is one of the main elements of your club identity in FC 27 Ultimate Team, alongside your badge and kits. It is displayed across Ultimate Team, including menus, pre-match screens and selected online modes.
When setting up your club, you can choose a team name containing up to 15 characters, including spaces. The name must also comply with EA’s rules regarding offensive or inappropriate content.
You will also need to select a three-letter abbreviation. This shorter identifier is used on the scoreboard during matches.
Changing the UT Team Name
Changing your FC 27 team name doesn’t offer any gameplay advantages or bonuses for your Ultimate Team. It’s purely a cosmetic option and might not be significant for some players. However, since Ultimate Team revolves around building a unique club, choosing a name that holds personal meaning can enhance the experience.
In FC 27, you can change your team name as often as you’d like. To update your club name, simply access the Club Settings Menu at any time.

- Press R1/RB again to select [Rename Club];
- Press X/A to start the process;
- Enter the new team name;
