Player Picks often feature players with boosted stats or special editions, making them highly desirable. Choosing wisely is therefore crucial.

How to Get Them

Sometimes, Player Picks are awarded for completing Squad Building Challenges or Objectives, granting the right to select one or more players from a curated collection. They may also appear during seasonal promotions or special packs, providing limited-time chances to strengthen your squad.

Typically, the most sought-after Player Picks are given to players who achieve top weekly rankings in the Champions and Rivals modes. In these cases, the available Player Picks rotate throughout the year to include special cards from recent events.

For example, a player who reaches Rank 1 in Champions during Season 1 will receive Player Picks featuring players with a specific minimum rating. The same achievement in Season 7 or 8, however, will require choosing from a selection of various special cards.

Choosing One Player from Several
Often, you select one player from a small group (for example, 1 out of 3 or 1 out of 5). Each option may vary in position, rating, or special traits, so it’s important to pick based on your team’s needs and the player’s value.

Minimum Rating Player Picks
Some Player Picks guarantee a player with a rating above a set threshold (e.g., 85+, 90+), giving you the opportunity to add a high-rated card to your squad.

Multiple Picks
Occasionally, you may be asked to select several players from a set, such as 2 out of 5 or 3 out of 84+ picks. These options offer greater flexibility but require careful strategy to choose the players that best complement your team.

These choices can affect team chemistry, formation options, and overall gameplay. Assessing your current squad and playstyle helps maximize the value of each Player Pick.

In certain Champions reward scenarios, Player Picks are often referred to as Red Picks, which are replicas of other special cards but feature a slightly different red-colored card design.
