FC Points, previously called FIFA Points, are the in-game currency used to buy Ultimate Team Packs and access Draft mode. They can be purchased during EA Play early access or on the official release date.

As such, they are unregulated digital money, issued and managed by developers, and valid only within a specific virtual ecosystem.

In FC 27, players spend real money to buy FC Points, which can then be used for in-game items, mainly packs containing player cards and other valuable assets.

The precursor to FC Points, FIFA Points, was first introduced in FIFA 12 Ultimate Team, initially available only for PC. Over time, EA Sports expanded the currency to PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android, creating a unified payment system across all platforms. Prior to FIFA Points and FC Points, packs were purchased using Microsoft Points or PlayStation Network credits.
You can buy FC Points through the Web App or directly from the Ultimate Team Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, Nintendo eShop, or EA App. Additionally, you can use a pre-paid code to purchase FC Points. All these methods are detailed on this page.
FC Points will be available for purchase as soon as you play Football Club 27 from a retail disc / downloaded game or on early access if you are an EA Play subscriber.

Currently, the ability to purchase FC Points via the Companion App on Android is limited to players who engage with the game on a PC platform. Due to pricing differences across mobile, console, and PC platforms, this functionality is only available on Android devices and is not supported on iOS.

  1. Ensure your account is secure by changing your Ultimate Team, EA, email password, or Ultimate Team Secret Question;
  2. Visit the EA Support page and log in with your credentials. Use the country selector at the top right-hand corner of the page if you’re not based in the US, UK, or Canada;
  3. Select the platform you use to play FC 26;
  4. Select [Missing content] and then [Never received content];
  5. Choose the contact method that works best for you and make note of the reference number provided.
To improve your chances of success, have the following information ready before contacting your Game Advisor:
  • Proof of purchase
  • Affected persona name (EA ID, PSN ID, Xbox ID)
  • The date when FC Points went missing
  • Details on how the points were lost
  • Description of the missing points (How many?)
  • Any additional details that may be relevant to your issue.
You can only ask for a FC Points refund if you haven’t used them and your account is in good standing. In that case, you need to contact console support.
There isn’t any way to get free FC Points. So if someone is offering you FC Points, most likely it is a scam to take your money or FUT content.
You can check your FC Points balance by looking at the top right-hand corner of any Ultimate Team menu on your console or Web App. If you have never bought FC Points, you will see a ‘0’.
You can transfer your FC Points from FC 26 to FC 27 through a one-time transfer option available until December 31, 2026. The earliest opportunity to initiate this transfer is during the EA Play trial or when you first log in to FC 26 after obtaining the full game. Please note that it’s not possible to transfer FC Points using the Web and Companion Apps.

Upon your initial login with the same account, the system will recognize your previous balance and present a pop-up offering the option to transfer your points. The message will state: “We’ve noticed you have an outstanding FC Points balance in FC 26. Would you like to transfer and convert it to FC Points in FC 27? Please note, this transfer is not reversible. Once you have transferred your Points balance, you will only be able to access it within EA FC 27. This is a one-time only transfer; you will not be able to transfer any more Points after this.”

You’ll be presented with the following choices: a) Yes, I want to transfer and convert my entire Points balance from FC 26 to FC 27. b) No, please leave my FC Points balance untouched. c) I am not sure at this point, please prompt me again later.

Once you execute this transfer, you won’t receive this message again, and FC Points purchased in FC 26 won’t be transferred to FC 27 Ultimate Team anymore. This applies even if you’ve played Origin/EA early access and transferred your points but haven’t purchased the full game, in which case you won’t regain your points in FC 26.

Keep in mind that FC Points can only be transferred from FC 26 to FC 27 on the same console. For instance, you can transfer FC Points from FC 26 to FC 27 on PlayStation, but you cannot transfer points from FC 26 on PlayStation to FC 27 on Xbox. Therefore, ensure to purchase FC Points for the console you intend to use, as sharing FC Points between different consoles isn’t feasible.
