AI controls commentators, giving a running commentary of a game as you play. While some commentators are there to fill the awkward silence, others became legendary additions to the soccer world with epic lines and goal announcements.
From the Career Mode to Ultimate Team, commentators are a core part of every FIFA/FC game. FC 24 works with some of the most beloved commentators worldwide, making it feel like home for the players, regardless of country.

How To Change the FC 24 Commentary Language
- From the main FC screen, navigate to [Customise];
- Select [Settings] and then [Game Settings];
- Once in the Game Settings screen, use R1/RB to go to [Audio];
- Choose the Commentary Language and press X/A to download it if it is not available.

If you want to change the commentary language, you need to follow these steps:
- From the main FC screen, navigate to [Customise];
- Select [Settings] and then [Game Settings];
- Once in the Game Settings screen, use R1/RB to go to [Audio];
- Choose the Commentary Language and press X/A to download it if it is not available.
- Open the Origin Library and select ‘FC 24’;
- Click on the Cogwheel Icon next to ‘Play’;
- Select [Game Properties] and then [Advanced Launch Options];
- Select [Game Languages];
- Scroll through the available options and, if prompted, download the language you want.
If you want to play with your native audio language, you must ensure which languages are included in your region. The following table shows the audio commentary available in each region. PlayStation provided this information, but, in certain cases, it doesn’t look to be accurate. That’s why you should use it only as a reference.

To enable Alex Scott commentaries in the game, you need to activate ‘Sideline Commentator’ in the settings.
- From the main FIFA screen, navigate to [Customise];
- Select [Settings] and then [Game Settings];
- Once in the Game Settings screen, use R1/RB to go to [Audio];
- Enable ‘Sideline Commentator’.
Alan Smith and Lee Dixon no longer give their voice to the game.
