Digital copies are currently the best-sellers, but one of the most exciting questions about the release of a new EA FC title is still, ‘Which player will be on the cover?’ From David Platt to Erling Haaland, not forgetting the record-breaker Wayne Rooney, many players have had the honor of gracing a FIFA cover. Now it’s time to see who will be the second to appear on an FC cover. FC covers depends on the edition, platform and, in some cases, regions. In FC 24 there are only two covers: one for the ultimate edition, and one for the standard edition.
Cover Star
The covers often feature a striking image of the chosen player, set against a dynamic background that reflects the excitement and drama of football. Last year, Kylian Mbappé was replaced by Erling Braut Haaland as the FC 24 cover star. It was the first time he featured on a FIFA/FC cover. In Football Club 25, the Norwegian leverages his popularity and football skills to appear on the game’s cover once again.
Haaland burst onto the scene as a prolific goal scorer at a young age. His incredible performances in the Norwegian league earned him a move to RB Salzburg in January 2019. During his time there, Haaland showcased his exceptional talent by scoring goals at an astonishing rate.
In January 2020 Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund and less than two years later he signed by Manchester City, where he won the UEFA Champions League and his first EPL title.
Known for his incredible speed, strength, and clinical finishing, Haaland has become one of the most sought-after young talents in world football.
Standard Edition
There is only one cover for the base version of FC 25. The cover features Haaland shooting a ball in a UCL match, and it is available for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo platforms.
