Digital copies are currently the best-sellers, but one of the most exciting questions about the release of a new EA FC title is still, ‘Which player will be on the cover?’ From David Platt to Erling Haaland, not forgetting the record-breaker Wayne Rooney, many players have had the honor of gracing a FIFA cover. Now it’s time to see who will be the second to appear on an FC cover.
FC covers depends on the edition, platform and, in some cases, regions. In FC 25 there are only two covers: one for the ultimate edition, and one for the standard edition.
Cover Star
The covers often feature a striking image of the chosen player, set against a dynamic background that reflects the excitement and drama of football. Last year, Kylian Mbappé was replaced by Erling Braut Haaland as the FC 24 cover star. It was the first time he featured on a FIFA/FC cover. In Football Club 25, the Norwegian was replaced by Jude Bellingham.
Born on June 29, 2003, Jude is one of the brightest young talents in football. He began his career at Birmingham City, joining their youth academy at the age of eight and quickly progressed through the ranks, making his first-team debut at just 16 years old in August 2019.
His impressive performances in the Championship attracted attention from top European clubs, leading to his transfer to Borussia Dortmund in July 2020. At Dortmund, Bellingham’s combination of technical skill, physical prowess, and football intelligence has made him a standout player in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
Internationally, Bellingham made his debut for the England national team in November 2020, becoming one of the youngest players to represent the senior team. He played a significant role in England’s journey to the Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 final.
Known for his versatility, Bellingham can play in various midfield roles, contributing both defensively and offensively. His maturity on and off the pitch, combined with his natural talent, suggests a bright future ahead, with many predicting he will become one of the best midfielders of his generation.
Standard Edition
There is only one cover for the base version of FC 25. The cover features Bellingham celebrating a goal against FC Barcelona in the Santiago Bernabéu, and it is available for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo platforms.
