FC 27 LOGIN
FC 27 login requires a password and eventually a verification code.
FC 27 Login
To access FC 27 online features, sign in using the email address or EA ID associated with your EA Account and the corresponding password. You may be asked to sign in again when your session expires, when you use a new device, update sensitive account information or when EA detects unusual activity.
Your EA Account password should contain between 8 and 16 characters, including at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter. Use a combination of letters, numbers and special characters, and never reuse a password from another account. Avoid personal information that can be easily discovered, such as your name, date of birth, EA ID, platform ID or squad name.
The following instructions explain what to do in three different situations:
- When you lose or forget your password;
- When you no longer have access to the email address registered on your EA Account;
- When your account is compromised and its email address or other information is changed.
How to Reset a Forgotten Password
If you cannot sign in because you have forgotten your password, follow these steps:
- Go to the EA Account sign-in page;
- Select [Forgot Your Password?];
- Enter the email address or EA ID associated with your account. If you do not remember either one, try signing in with a connected platform account;
- Check your email for the password reset message;
- Open the link in the most recent message and follow the instructions to create a new password.
How to Sign In Without Access to Your EA Account Email
If you can no longer access the email address registered on your EA Account, try signing in through a connected platform account:
- Select [Log In] on the EA Help website or open the EA Account sign-in page;
- Choose a connected PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam, Apple, Facebook or Google account;
- Sign in using the credentials for the selected platform;
- If that platform is linked to your EA Account, you will be signed in to the corresponding account;
- Open your EA Account settings and review the information shown on the [Account Information] page;
- If permitted, select [Edit] next to [Email Address] and complete the identity verification process.
How to Recover a Compromised Account
If someone has accessed your EA Account, they may change its email address, password or other information. Even if you cannot sign in, you may still be able to recover the account through a connected platform login or EA Help.
Before requesting recovery, secure the email address and platform accounts associated with your EA Account:
- Change the password of your email account;
- Change the passwords of any connected PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam or Epic accounts;
- Use unique passwords that have not been used on other services;
- Check your email account for unfamiliar forwarding rules, recovery addresses or active sessions.
- Try resetting your EA Account password or signing in with a connected platform account;
- If you regain access, change your EA Account password immediately;
- Open your EA Account security settings and remove any trusted devices you do not recognize;
- Turn on Two-Factor Authentication and save your backup codes in a secure location;
- If you still cannot access the account, open the EA compromised account support page;
- Use the available account recovery or contact option and provide an accessible email address;
- Select the issue related to a hacked or compromised EA Account and provide as much accurate information as possible.
Two-Factor Authentication
EA may ask you to confirm your identity with a verification code. When Two-Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, is enabled, this additional security step helps prevent someone from accessing your EA Account even if they know your password.
A verification code may be requested in situations such as:
- When you sign in to an EA game or service from a new or unrecognized device;
- When you access the FC 27 Web App or Companion App on a new device or browser;
- When you update sensitive account information;
- When EA detects unusual sign-in activity.
You can use Google Authenticator or another compatible authenticator app. Once configured, open the application whenever EA requests verification and enter the temporary code displayed for your EA Account.
It is also recommended to configure more than one verification method when available. After enabling 2FA, generate your backup codes and store them somewhere secure and separate from the device used for authentication. Each backup code can only be used once.
How to Enable an Authenticator App
- Go to your EA Account Security and Privacy settings;
- Find [Two-Factor Authentication];
- Select [Turn On];
- Choose [Authenticator App] as your verification method;
- Install a compatible authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator for Android or iPhone;
- Open the authenticator app and add a new account;
- Scan the QR code displayed in your EA Account settings. If scanning is unavailable, enter the setup key manually;
- Enter the temporary code generated by the authenticator app into the EA Account verification window;
- Select [Save] or follow the confirmation shown on screen to complete the setup;
- Select [View Backup Codes] and save the codes in a secure location.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you play Football Club and you accepted the User Agreement, you already have an EA Account.
If you encounter login issues in FC 27 accompanied by an ‘expired credentials’ message, it’s likely due to extended inactivity. In such cases, reset your EA Account password. If the problem persists, wait 90 minutes before attempting again, since repeated password reset requests within a short period can trigger this error.
Consoles
- Scroll right in the main FC 27 menu to [Customise];
- Open [Online Settings];
- Open [EA Account]. Here you’ll find your public ID, your email address that’s linked to your EA Account, and your join date.
- Open the EA app and sign in;
- Select your profile and open [Settings];
- Select [My Account] and then [Manage];
- Your browser will open the EA Account portal, where you can review your account information.
It’s best to use an email address that will stay accessible long-term. Addresses tied to private domains, such as school or work accounts, may become inactive once you leave the institution. Opting for free services like Gmail or Yahoo provides easier access for account management and password recovery.
You can generally change your email address or EA ID to a new one once every 30 days. However, you can change your email address back to one that was previously associated with the account without this restriction.
- Go to your EA Account billing settings;
- Click on the [About Me] tab;
- Click [Edit] next to [Email Address] to update your email;
- Change your email after confirming your identity.
A secondary email helps you reset your password if you’re locked out of your EA Account and primary email address.
- Go to your EA Account security settings page;
- Click in [Secondary Email] and then in [Add Secondary Email];
- Enter an email address different from the one registered to your EA Account;
- Log in to that email address and find the security code email sent;
- Enter your security code in the EA Account settings verification window.
Try to add as many methods as possible.
- Open your EA Account [Security and Privacy] settings;
- Find [Two-Factor Authentication] and open its preferences;
- Select [Edit];
- Choose an additional verification method;
- Request and enter the code sent through that method;
- Save the changes.
Each verification code is only valid for a limited time. If you’re using an authenticator app and the timer is about to run out, wait for a new code so you have enough time to enter it. If you’re using another method, simply request a new one.
If you’re not receiving the verification code in your email, try resending it or add an alternative email address where the code can be delivered.
If your phone is lost, the authenticator app isn’t working, and your email is inaccessible, backup codes are the only way to sign in to your EA Account on a new device.
After enabling Two-Factor Authentication, open your EA Account [Security and Privacy] settings and select [View Backup Codes]. Store them in a secure location separate from your authentication device. Each backup code can only be used once.
