Customize your FC 27 Online Experience

The FC 27 Online Settings allow players to manage their EA Account information, privacy preferences and online matchmaking options.

From this menu, you can review the information associated with your EA Account, control how certain usage data is shared and decide whether the game should use your approximate location or connect you with players on other supported platforms.

The options available here apply across FC 27, although matchmaking settings are only relevant when playing supported online modes.

How To Access FC 27 Online Settings

From the main Football Club screen, navigate to [Customise];
Select [Online Settings];
Use the directional buttons to navigate between the available setting groups.

The FC 27 Online Settings are organized into three groups:

EA Account, User Agreement, Privacy and Cookie Policy;
Privacy Settings;
Matchmaking Options.

EA Account, User Agreement, Privacy and Cookie Policy

Within the FC 27 Online Settings, you can access and review information associated with your EA Account, including:

Public ID
The public name associated with your EA Account and displayed across EA games and services;
Email Address
The email address associated with your EA Account;
Membership Starting Date
The date on which your EA Account was created.

This section contains private account information, so recording and screenshots may be restricted while it is displayed. To edit your information, visit the EA Account Settings website.

You can also access EA’s User Agreement and Privacy and Cookie Policy from this section, allowing you to review the terms and policies that apply to your account and online experience.

Privacy Settings

Privacy Settings allow you to control how certain data and optional features are used in FC 27:

Share Playtime Usage Data
If enabled, EA uses data collected from your platform and the Companion App to operate the Playtime feature. Disabling this option prevents that data from being used for Playtime and disables the feature;

Usage Sharing
Allows EA to collect usage data from your platform to help develop and improve its products and services. If disabled, EA will continue to collect only the data required to provide essential online services;

In-Game Surveys
Allows EA to occasionally display surveys while you navigate the game menus. These surveys let you provide feedback about different aspects of FC 27. Disable this option if you do not want to receive them.

Matchmaking Options

The Matchmaking Options section allows you to manage how FC 27 searches for opponents in supported online modes.

Approximate Location Matchmaking
Uses your IP address to estimate your location and prioritize opponents who are geographically closer, helping to reduce latency and improve connection quality;

Cross-play Enabled
Allows you to play with friends and other members of the FC 27 community using supported platforms from the same platform generation. When Cross-play is enabled, players on another platform may receive your platform ID and other information required for online play.

You can enable or disable these options according to your preferences or restore the Online Settings to their default values.
