FC 27 Player Picks are rewards that give players the opportunity to select one or more Player Items from a limited and curated selection.
When opening a Player Pick, you are shown several available players and must choose the option that best suits your squad. The selection may contain Base Items, special versions, high-rated players or items from a specific campaign, depending on the reward.
The available players, number of choices and minimum rating vary according to the source of the reward. Choosing carefully is important because the selected Player Item is normally added to your Club, while the alternatives are discarded.
How to Get Them
FC 27 Player Picks can be earned through several Ultimate Team activities:
- SBC Rewards;
- Objectives;
- Season Pass Rewards;
- Game Mode Rewards;
- Store Offers and Packs.
Some Champions and other competitive mode rewards include Player Picks. The number of choices, minimum rating and eligible Player Items depend on the reward tier and the current season or campaign.
The contents of a Player Pick can change throughout the year. A reward may contain Base Items, Team of the Week players or other special Player Items, depending on the conditions stated in its description.
Types of Player Picks
When opening a Player Pick, you may face different types of selection:
- Choosing One Player from Several
You select one Player Item from a small group, such as one of three or one of five options. The available players may differ in position, rating, league, nationality or special attributes. - Minimum Rating Player Picks
Some Player Picks guarantee that every available option meets a minimum rating, such as 85+, 90+ or player-specific rating requirements. - Campaign or Rarity Picks
Certain picks are restricted to a specific campaign, rarity, league, nation or type of Player Item. Always check the description before making your selection. - Multiple Picks
Some rewards allow you to select more than one player, such as two players from five options. The number of selections and available players are shown when the pick is opened.
The best choice depends on your current squad, preferred formation, Chemistry requirements, Player Roles, PlayStyles and long-term plans. Once confirmed, the selection is normally final.
In some Champions rewards, Player Picks are known as Red Picks. These use a red design associated with the competition and may represent eligible special Player Items from the relevant reward pool.
