Ten Things to Do in FC 27

  • Claim and Use Your Rewards
Check Objectives, the Seasonal Ladder, Live Events and the Campaign Hub regularly so that you do not leave rewards unclaimed. FC 27 also introduces End of Match Rewards in selected modes, providing Match Coins and SP as you play. Use these resources to improve your Club gradually.

  • Research SBCs Carefully
Evaluate the reward, requirements and cost before submitting any Items. Most Player and Upgrade challenges in FC 27 use Streamlined SBCs, where each Item contributes a score based on its OVR and rarity. Progress can be made through multiple submissions, but this does not guarantee a profitable return. Traditional SBCs continue to be used for more complex challenges.

  • Learn from Defeats
Avoid quitting simply because you are losing. Leaving a match early prevents you from receiving its Match Coins and any applicable End of Match Rewards. Repeated incomplete matches can also reduce your DNF Modifier and lower the Coins earned from subsequent matches. Analyse the goals you concede and use each defeat to improve.

  • Sell Players at the Right Time
Player prices change according to supply, rewards, SBC requirements, Campaign releases and demand for competitive squads. Establish a realistic target price and sell when demand is strong. Remember that every completed Transfer Market sale is subject to a five percent tax.

  • Watch Tutorials and Follow Gameplay Changes
Tutorials and streams from experienced players can help you learn formations, controls and gameplay techniques. Use platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, but check when each guide was published. Title Updates can change the effectiveness of tactics, PlayStyles and individual mechanics.

  • Find a Playing Style That Suits You
Learning from competitive players is useful, but copying their tactics without understanding them may produce poor results. Experiment with different formations, Player Roles and Tactical Focus options until you find an approach that complements your decisions and available squad.

  • Build a Balanced Team
Your squad should be capable of defending transitions, controlling midfield and creating different types of chances. Consider Attributes, preferred positions, Role Familiarity and Chemistry instead of selecting players solely according to OVR or reputation.

  • Pace Yourself in Champions
Playing too many competitive matches consecutively can reduce concentration and decision quality. Take regular breaks, stay hydrated and stop temporarily if frustration begins to affect your performance. Spreading matches across the available period can help you maintain a more consistent level.

  • Set a Budget for FC Points
If you decide to buy FC Points, establish a spending limit and check the displayed pack probabilities before using them. Opening packs does not guarantee valuable or tradeable Items, and buying FC Points early does not guarantee a Coin profit.

  • Have a Clear Squad and Evolution Plan
Decide which positions need improvement before spending Coins or committing Items. FC 27 Evolution Pathways can offer different upgrade routes, while Evolution Chain Preview shows potential future combinations. Review the available outcomes before choosing a player or pathway.

Ten Things Not to Do in FC 27

  • Do Not Keep Rebuilding Your Team
Changing your squad every time a new Item appears can consume a significant part of your budget. The five percent tax applies whenever you sell an Item, while market fluctuations may produce an additional loss. Use loans, substitutes or Concept Squads to assess possible changes before rebuilding your starting eleven.

  • Do Not Complete Every SBC
An SBC is worthwhile only when its reward or content matches your objectives. Streamlined SBCs allow partial progress, duplicate submissions and different combinations of eligible Items, but everything submitted is permanently removed from your Club. Check the required score and avoid contributing more value than necessary.

  • Do Not Rage Quit
Leaving a match in frustration removes the possibility of a comeback and normally prevents you from receiving Match Coins or applicable End of Match Rewards. It can also reduce your DNF Modifier, lowering the Coins earned from future matches. Stay calm and complete the fixture whenever possible.

  • Do Not Put All Your Coins into One Item
Concentrating your entire budget in one player or investment creates unnecessary risk. The Item may fall in price because of new content, additional supply or an unsuccessful upgrade condition. Diversify your investments and maintain enough Coins to improve other areas of your squad.

  • Do Not Send Toxic Messages
Abusive or discriminatory messages can be reported and may lead to communication restrictions or account sanctions. Treat opponents respectfully and use your platform’s privacy settings if you prefer to prevent messages from unknown players.

  • Do Not Play While Tilting
Anger and frustration often lead to rushed passes, unnecessary tackles and poor tactical decisions. If several matches are going badly, take a break instead of immediately starting another fixture. Returning with a clear mind is usually more productive.

  • Do Not Overcommit After Conceding
Immediately sending too many players forward after falling behind can expose your defence to counterattacks. Maintain your structure and increase attacking risk gradually. Tactical Focus can provide a more controlled way to adopt an attacking approach without replacing your entire tactic.

  • Do Not Waste Coins on Packs
Packs contain random Items, and their market value will often be lower than the number of Coins spent. Check the probabilities and consider purchasing the required player directly from the Transfer Market. Reward packs can still be opened without placing your existing Coin balance at risk.

  • Do Not Be Careless with Transfers
Small overpayments and underpriced sales accumulate over time. Compare several listings, check recent market values and include the five percent tax when calculating profit. Avoid purchasing the first Item displayed simply to save a few seconds.

  • Do Not Hoard Coins Indefinitely
Maintaining a reserve is useful, but Coins have value only when they help you improve or enjoy your Club. Establish an appropriate budget for upgrades, SBCs, Evolutions and trading. Spend deliberately while retaining enough flexibility for future opportunities.
