FC 27 Release Date

EA Sports FC 27 will be officially released worldwide on Friday, September 25, 2026. Players who purchase an eligible Ultimate Edition can start playing up to seven days earlier, while EA Play members can access a limited-time trial before the worldwide launch.

The FC 27 release date was first reported by FIFAUTeam after being identified in EA’s code and was later officially confirmed by Electronic Arts. The highly anticipated title will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

Release times may vary depending on the platform and region. On consoles, the Standard Edition will generally unlock at midnight local time on September 25. On PC, it is scheduled to become available at 23:00 UTC on September 24, meaning that some players will be able to access it shortly before the official worldwide release date.

Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition can access the full game from September 18, 2026, up to seven days before the worldwide launch. The Ultimate Plus Edition is only available for a limited time and is not offered on Nintendo platforms or through the Epic Games Store.

Alternatively, EA Play members can access the FC 27 trial. It provides up to 10 hours with the full game from September 18, allowing subscribers to start playing before the worldwide release while carrying their progress into the purchased game.

FC 27 Lite, a free downloadable preview featuring selected content and game modes such as Kick Off, will also launch on September 25, 2026, at 16:00 UTC. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store, with the option to upgrade to the full game.

On PC, EA Play Pro members receive unlimited access to the full EA Play Pro Edition from September 18, 2026. They do not need to purchase the game separately, provided that their membership remains active.

Last year, FC 26 was officially released on September 26. EA Sports FC 27 follows as the fourth installment in the EA Sports FC series.
