FC 27 Web App Troubleshooting Guide

Web App Issues

To be eligible for early access to the FC 27 Web App and Companion App, returning players must have previously earned Transfer Market access and meet the following requirements:

  • They earned Transfer Market access in FC 26 before August 1, 2026, or in FC 25 before August 1, 2025, or in FC 24 before August 1, 2024;
  • Their EA Account is still active;
  • Their EA Account is in good standing.
Even if you meet all the requirements, you may still be unable to access the Web App or some of its features. To help you fix these and other related issues, we have created this FC 27 Web App troubleshooting guide, so you can get your season started as quickly as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
To access the FC 27 Web App:
  1. Open the official Ultimate Team Web App;
  2. Make sure that Login Verification is enabled;
  3. Log in using the EA Account linked to your platform;
  4. Accept the User Agreement if prompted.
Early access to the FC 27 Web App is not granted to everyone, as players must meet specific conditions.

Returning players may qualify if they previously earned Transfer Market access in FC 26 before August 1, 2026, FC 25 before August 1, 2025, or FC 24 before August 1, 2024. Their EA Account must still exist and remain in good standing.

Players who switched platforms, were banned, or had disciplinary actions taken on their accounts in FC 26 will be denied access. Previous access to the Web App or Transfer Market does not guarantee immediate access in FC 27.

Additionally, those who do not purchase FC 27 must log in to Ultimate Team on their PC or console at least once before November 7, 2026, at 11:59:50 pm UTC to continue using both applications.

Even if you are eligible, you might still see a restricted access message. This may happen because the FC 27 Web App is being rolled out gradually, so you may need to wait a few hours before full availability is granted.

If you are a new player, you must first access Ultimate Team in FC 27 on a console or PC before you can use the Web App or Companion App. Playing Ultimate Team is also required to earn access to features that are not granted automatically, such as the Transfer Market.
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, try a private browsing window, use another supported browser and temporarily disable browser extensions.

If the problem continues, check EA’s server status and try again later, as the Web App may be undergoing maintenance or experiencing heavy traffic.
“We’re currently having trouble with login services. While we work on it, you can try to log in from Console or PC to get the full Football Ultimate Team experience.”

If this message appears and blocks your Web App access, open FC 27 Ultimate Team on your console or PC, return to the main FC menu to log out properly, and then try to log in to the Web App again.

Access to the Transfer Market is a privilege for some players with accounts in good standing. Returning players may receive automatic access if they previously earned Transfer Market access in FC 26, FC 25 or FC 24 during the relevant eligibility period.

If you are brand new to Ultimate Team or do not receive automatic access, you must earn it by playing Ultimate Team in FC 27. An active day requires playing three complete Ultimate Team matches and logging in to the Web App or Companion App on the same calendar day, according to UTC time.

Playing more than three matches per day does not increase your chances of unlocking the Transfer Market.

A Transfer Market ban from FC 26 does not normally carry over automatically to FC 27. However, broader EA Account sanctions may continue to apply. You will still need to meet the FC 27 access requirements and keep your account in good standing.
EA advisors cannot grant access to the FC Transfer Market or tell you exactly when you will receive access.

How long it takes to unlock the Transfer Market depends on several factors:
  • Whether your account is in good standing and whether you have ever broken the FC rules;
  • The number of Ultimate Team accounts you are using on the same device;
  • The number of active days on which you have played Ultimate Team.
An active day is a calendar day on which you have played three complete Ultimate Team matches and logged in to the Web App or Companion App, according to UTC time. Playing more than three matches per day does not increase your chances of unlocking access.

If your Ultimate Team account is in good standing and no other Ultimate Team account has been created or used on your device, you will normally earn access after two active days. If other Ultimate Team accounts have been created or used on your device, earning access will normally take at least four active days. The more Ultimate Team accounts used on the device, the longer it may take for each account to earn access.

You will receive an in-game message when you unlock access. You can also check the Web App or Companion App.

You may encounter one of two messages indicating that your account has been blocked:

  • Message 1
    “Your account has been blocked from using the Transfer Market on the Web and Companion apps due to breaking our rules. You can still use the Transfer Market on your platform. Check the email associated with your EA Account for more information.”
  • Message 2
    “Your account has been blocked from using the Transfer Market due to breaking our rules. Check the email associated with your EA Account for more information.”
If you receive one of these messages, it means EA has restricted your access to the Transfer Market on the Web and Companion Apps due to a violation of their rules. This is done to help maintain a fair playing environment for all users.

In the first case, you may still access the Transfer Market through your PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. If you believe this restriction was applied in error, you can contact EA by emailing [email protected].
The browser window is too small to display the Web App correctly. Maximise the window or press [Ctrl] and [−] to reduce the browser zoom until the full interface becomes visible.
Unfortunately, verification codes can take longer than usual to arrive when the Web App first launches. For this reason, it’s highly recommended to set up multiple verification methods to ensure you always have a backup option. One of the most reliable choices is the authenticator app, which provides the strongest security. It generates a six-digit code within the Google Authenticator app that you can enter whenever required. Simply open the app and use the code displayed.

How to Enable the App Authenticator
  1. Go to your EA Account security settings page;
  2. Scroll down to [Two-Factor Authentication];
  3. Select [Turn On];
  4. Choose [Authenticator App];
  5. Install the Google Authenticator app for Google Play or iPhone;
  6. Open the Authenticator App and click [Begin Setup];
  7. Choose how you want to set up the authenticator:
    – Choose Scan barcode to scan the QR code from your Settings
    – Choose Manual entry to type in your EA Account’s email address and the Secret Key from your Settings;
  8. Enter the code that the authenticator gives you and click [Save].
If you want to access the FC 27 Web App on your mobile device, you should use the internet browser. However, not all devices will be technically able. Instead, we strongly recommend using the Companion App, the app designed specifically to mobile devices.

Keep in mind that to work, you must first access the FC 27 Web App at least once.
The Companion App goes out one day after the Web App. However, you can access the Web App from your mobile at anytime by following these steps:

Google Chrome (Android/iOS)
  • Open Chrome on your mobile device.
  • Navigate to the Web App website .
  • Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
  • Select “Desktop Site” from the dropdown menu.
  • The site will reload in desktop mode.
Safari (iOS)
  • Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Go to the Web App website.
  • Tap the “AA” icon in the address bar.
  • Select “Request Desktop Website” from the options.
  • The page will reload in desktop view.
Microsoft Edge (Android/iOS)
  • Open Edge on your mobile device.
  • Visit the Web App website.
  • Tap the three-dot menu at the bottom or top-right.
  • Choose “View Desktop Site.”
  • The website will reload in desktop mode.
Firefox (Android/iOS)
  • Open Firefox on your phone.
  • Go to the Web App website.
  • Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
  • Check the “Desktop site” option.
  • The website will reload as the desktop version.
If you previously had access to the FC 27 Web App but no longer do, even if you have not made any changes, check whether you have purchased FC 27 and logged in to Ultimate Team on your PC or console.

Players who have not purchased FC 27 must log in to Ultimate Team in FC 27 at least once before November 7, 2026, at 11:59:50 PM UTC to continue using the Web App and Companion App.

If you have not logged in before this deadline, access to both applications will expire until you log in to FC 27.

Certain words are filtered and cannot be used as a club name in FC 27. Since Ultimate Team is played globally, some terms may carry different meanings or connotations in various languages.

If you encounter a profanity error while creating your FC 27 Club, try choosing a different name. You can refer to our list of suggestions for alternative club names.
Welcome Back rewards may vary according to your account history, engagement and standing. Not every returning player receives the same rewards, and their contents may change from one season to another.
Your EA Account is linked to the email address you use to log in to the FUT Web App. One EA Account can include multiple Personas, depending on the platforms you play on.

By default, the Web App loads the most recently used FC Persona. To change Persona, open [Settings] and select the available Persona or platform option.

To use a different EA Account, sign out completely and log back in using the correct credentials.
You need to go to the lower-left corner and click on [Settings]. Then, you can change to one of the other 21 languages from [Select Language].
If this FC 27 Web App Troubleshooting guide didn’t fix your problem, you should ask for help to the EA Support.
