FUT Champions Play-Offs

FUT Champions is a way to test your skill across two stages of competition: the Play-Offs and the Finals. The Champions Play-Offs are the first leg of the overall FUT Champions competition, and it is open for the duration of the FUT Season, usually six weeks long.

To qualify for the FUT Champions Play-Offs, you must accumulate 1,250 Champions Qualification Points (CQP). This value may vary depending on the season. There are two ways to get these points:

  • Playing FUT Rivals.
You can play Division Rivals as much as you want, improving your chances of being qualified. Once you’ve accumulated enough points, you’ll be automatically entered into the Play-Offs, and your Champions run for that entry can begin when you are ready to play.

At the end of each FUT Rivals match, you earn CQP based on your division and the match result. In the same way, at the end of the week, you also earn points based on the division you are in when the Rivals campaign has finished.

FUT Champions Finals

Previously known as Weekend League, the FUT Champions Finals are this competition’s second and final stage.

The only way to reach the FIFA 23 FUT Champions qualification for the Finals is through the Play-Offs. To sum up at least the minimum required points, you will have ten matches to play (this may vary depending on the season).

  • Number of Matches: 10
  • Win = +4;
  • Loss = +1;
  • Points Needed: 20
If a match finishes with a draw, there will be extra time and penalties. You can keep playing even if you have reached the qualification.

Suppose you earn 20 points (which is made by a minimum of 5 wins or four wins and four losses). In that case, you will unlock a FUT Champions Finals Qualification Token granting access to the Champions Finals and allowing you to continue participating in the competition.

If you did not make it to the Finals but still have entries, you can always return to the Play-Offs after re-qualifying through FUT Division Rivals.
