FIFA 23 National Teams

FIFA 23 National Teams

FIFA 23 features more national teams than its predecessor. There are new options for both men’s and women’s teams, but also teams that were excluded, like Russia.

These new additions aren’t exactly a surprise. After losing 18 national teams in just one year, the range of teams you can use in the different game modes has increased due to the kick-off of the game being released a few months before the biggest football competition on the planet: the FIFA World Cup.

The list of FIFA 23 national teams is stated below (men’s and women’s teams). Note that the new teams are all marked with a specific icon. At the end of each list, you can also see the new additions and the teams we have lost this year.

FIFA 23 Competitions

FIFA 23 World Cup

EA has developed the most extensive and comprehensive network of partnerships and licenses in the sport. Like previous titles in the series, FIFA 23 will feature plenty of competitions worldwide, with national leagues and continental tournaments included.

The Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 are completely exclusive to FIFA 23, so fully licensed versions will not appear on any other game. The game also features several other international competitions, fully-licensed:

  • CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores
  • CONMEBOL Recopa
  • CONMEBOL Sudamericana
  • Men’s World Cup 2022
  • UEFA Champions League
  • UEFA Europa Conference League
  • UEFA Europa League
  • UEFA Super Cup
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League
  • Women’s World Cup 2022
