In line with what we explained, we may have to say goodbye to position modifier items. In FUT 23, it looks that each player will have two positions and you can change between them using a unique generic item. If you want to play with Kanté as a striker, this may be your last chance…

In the last years, EA has been working to make this game mode as simple as possible. Last year, for example, they removed fitness and a lot of useless cards. For FIFA 23, it is rumoured that chemistry will change, so everyone can easily understand how it works. Instead of a scale from 0 to 100, team chemistry will be ranked up to 3 stars, and you no longer will have to match nations to reach good chemistry.
