You can use the FC 25 Highlighter Replay feature to rewatch match highlights and instant replay moments, as well as take photos and create videos.
FC 25 Highlighter Replay
The FC 25 Highlighter Replay is a new tool, available accross PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms that takes the player-game connection to a whole new level, providing groundbreaking features for creating personalized, highly shareable content that shows off the myriad of ways that players interact with the game.
With this tool you can do two things:
- Watch (using Instant Replay, Match Highlights, Match Recap).
- Edit (using Creator Tools)
After watching the key moments, you can edit them using the Creator Tools to produce high-resolution, customized images and videos that you can share with the world.
EA Sports Highlighter, which is available in several EA Sports games, elevates the player experience by putting cinematic power into their hands, so they can create the story they want to tell by capturing, editing, and sharing unforgettable moments from their matches.
How to Access Highlighter Replay
- Press Options/Start Button to pause the match you are playing;
- Select [Highlighter Replay].
Watch Mode
As mentioned earlier, whenever you want to review a recent play, watch a key moment, or view the match summary, simply access the Highlighter Replay and choose from a list that conveniently combines all three types of videos in a single interface.
Instant Replay
The FC 25 Instant Replay feature allows you to replay and review recent moments of your single-player matches in real-time. By selecting Instant Replay, you can rewatch a recent scene from your gameplay, control the timeline, adjust camera angles, and modify the motion speed. This is also where you’ll find the Rewind feature, which allows you to restart gameplay from a specific moment in the match.
Match Highlights
The FC 25 Match Highlights feature lets you watch key moments after completing a match, including goals, major misses, a selection of saves, fouls, and bookings. This option is available in all FC 25 game modes.
Match Recap
The FC 25 Match Recap feature presents a cinematic compilation of your match’s highlight moments, and like with Match Highlights, you don’t have control over what you’re watching
In offline matches, you can access and save Match Highlights at any time or view the Match Recap at half-time and full-time. When playing matches online, you can only access and save Match Highlights and Match Recap at full time. Once you save any video to your console, you can access it at any time, but it will no longer be available in the game.
When viewing videos in Instant Replay, you can choose to use any of the available cameras in the game. In Match Highlights and Match Recap, you can select one of four presets (Broadcast, Hypermotion, 360, and Drone) to define how you want to view the highlights.

While watching the video, you can edit it using the Creator Tools. This feature provides two mode types, each with its own unique settings and adjustments.
Photo Mode
By pressing L3 while in the Creator Tools, you can produce in-game photos like a professional, rather than relying on screenshots that offer no creative freedom.
Features Available:
– Position (Tilt, Rotate, Position);
– Zoom (from 10mm to 180mm);
– Focus (from 0m to 40m);
– Aperture (from f/1.4 to f/32);
– Filters (None, Monochrome, Cool, Warm, Alive);
– Effects (Vignette, Contrast, Highlights, Exposure).
Video Mode
If you want to unleash your creativity, producing, recording, and sharing a video created by yourself can be an excellent option.

– Camera (custom camera or one of the other available cameras);
