In the Game Settings, you can decide whether to display the player name bar, the indicator, or both during a match.

The Player Name Bar, also known as the Name Information Bar (NIB), enhances your on-screen experience with added visual customization and useful details. It clearly shows which player you are controlling at any given time.

This updated player info interface allows full control over what details appear during gameplay, helping you stay focused on the most important aspects of each match.

Customization

You can individually toggle on or off several new display elements in the Player Name Bar via the game settings. By default, all the new details are shown, but you’re free to adjust them according to your preference.

This allows every player, whether casual or competitive, to create a HUD setup that best supports their playstyle and accessibility needs.

In FC 27, Electronic Arts has updated the Player Name Bar with new elements, so you can customize how you want to see it.

  • PlayStyles+ Icons
Instantly see which PlayStyles+ the currently controlled player has. When you activate a PlayStyle+ in play, the icon flashes or glows in real time to give immediate feedback.

  • Skill Moves Rating
Displays your player’s Skill Move Rating, letting you know at a glance how many and which skill moves are available with that player.

  • Footedness Indicator
Clearly shows whether the player is left- or right-footed, plus a visual five-point scale for their weak foot ability. A double border (black and white) highlights the strong foot, while the boot icon fills from heel to toe to indicate weak foot proficiency.
