As usual, FIFA 21 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. A Legacy Edition will be released for Nintendo Switch.

The good news is that this will be one of the first EA titles on the next-generation consoles. In fact, FIFA fans will have the chance to start playing FIFA 21 on a current-gen console and upgrade for free to the next generation of FIFA 21 when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X launch later this year.
If you purchase FIFA 21 for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll be able to upgrade your copy once you have the corresponding next-generation console (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X) at no extra cost by downloading it to your console up until the launch of FIFA 22.

The first question everyone should do is if they are going to buy FIFA 21 or not. If you are reading this page, it is because you probably already made that decision. In fact, only you know how important is money to you, and if it is well spent in FIFA 21 or not. The best we can do is to explain what we think about the buy.

In our opinion, if you are a FIFA fan you definitely should buy FIFA 21. If you played and loved FIFA Street mode, then you can’t miss this game. However, you can expect a game with the usual issues, like slow servers and lots of bugs. In the other hand, if you are a casual player and you are looking for a football / soccer simulation video game, FIFA 21 is still a good choice. You have to choose between FIFA and PES and it looks that the EA’s title is still much better than the Konami’s video game. If you are not a football fan, then there are many other games that can make you much happier than this one.

No. Ultimate Team mode is available in every single edition.
If you usually do not play the Ultimate Team mode, you should choose the standard edition and save some money. Many will say to you to pick the Champions or the Ultimate Edition, but we have a different opinion. We know that the gold packs from these two editions are cheaper than if you bought them from the store but there is something you should not forget: you only get one or two gold packs per week, over 12 weeks. This is a huge disadvantage since you need those packs as soon as possible to build your dream team. The market depreciates over time, so when you redeem your last pack you probably no longer need it. The 3-days early access and the free OTW item are really tempting but they not worth the extra money.
First packs, loan players and kit token will be entitled immediately upon code redemption. The other packs will be delivered each week, running Monday to Sunday (GMT).
Late code redemption will result in forfeiture of previous weeks’ packs. Pack weekly offer is valid for 7 days and must be redeemed within that time period. Failure to log into FUT to redeem the pack in any given week will result in forfeiture of that week’s pack offering.

You must redeem by November 1, 2020 to receive all packs. If you redeem after November 15 (Standard) or January 17 (Champions and Ultimate), you will not receive any packs. Other offers will not be available if you redeem after October 5, 2021.
If you share your console with someone, the rewards will be assigned only to the account used to buy the game. There is no way to change this.
If you plan to buy FIFA 21, you should pre-order it. You will pay the same and get a few offers. However, if you don’t plan to play it all the time, buying it later on, especially at Christmas, will make you save some money, as game prices usually drop around this time.

It’s easy. You just need to go to the PSN store or Xbox Marketplace and buy FIFA 21. After the payment, you will be able to download it and play at midnight of the release date. The pre-download becomes available at least 3 days before the release date. That way, you will have the game ready to be played when it goes out.
If you want to download the PC version, you will need an Origin subscription. You just need to buy it, open the download link, download and install on your PC. No matter where you buy it from, you will always need an active Origin account to do it.
