Draft Explained

Draft is a game mode within Football Club 25 Ultimate Team where you can draft a team to compete against other players in up to four matches. You have the option to test your gameplay and team-building skills with players you don’t own in either a single-player or online tournament.

Also referred to as Draft Mode or Ultimate Draft, participation requires a fee, which can be paid in coins (15,000), FC Points (300), or Draft Tokens.

Upon entry, you’ll choose your game difficulty (for single-player) and select your squad’s formation from a list of five options. You’ll then pick a Captain from a pool of five superstars and fill out the rest of your 23-man squad by selecting players for each position from a five-player random draw.

Finally, you’ll select a manager from a pool of five randomly chosen managers. The formation, players, and manager you choose will remain your default selections throughout the series of matches. Your squad’s Team Chemistry and Team Rating will influence your on-field performance.

A Draft series consists of four knockout matches. Winning is necessary to progress to the next match, as a loss will eliminate your team from the series. The higher you advance, the tougher your opponents, and the greater the rewards.

As you progress through the competition, you’ll earn increasingly better rewards. These rewards include packs, coins, and Draft Mode Tokens. The most lucrative rewards are obtained by winning all four matches in a row, but you’ll still receive rewards even if you lose your first match.

Online Draft Mode generally offers better rewards compared to Single Player Draft Mode, although rewards are only received at the conclusion of your campaign.
