Cheating

Before delving further, it’s essential to state that we firmly oppose cheating. It’s detrimental to the Football Club community and undermines the integrity of the game. However, we’re here to shed light on cheating tactics, not to condone them. Our aim is to empower the Football Club community to recognize cheating and take appropriate action against it.

Let’s address a fundamental question: have you ever cheated in a game? It’s likely that many of us have indulged in cheats at some point. Cheating has become ingrained in gaming culture. Why do we resort to it? It’s a reflection of our innate tendency to seek the path of least resistance and minimize effort. In essence, we all crave victory and seek shortcuts to achieve it.

Now, consider this scenario: if you stumbled upon a glitch that awarded you a million coins with the press of a button, would you take advantage of it to acquire your dream player? Many individuals might succumb to the temptation, despite knowing it’s ethically wrong.

When contemplating whether to cheat, most people prioritize self-interest over fairness to others. The critical questions they ponder are often: “Will this benefit me?” rather than “Is this fair to others?” This mindset perpetuates the problem. Given absolute assurance of impunity, nearly everyone would be tempted to cheat.

Let’s address the crux of the matter: cheating is unequivocally wrong. It not only undermines fair play but also erodes the enjoyment of the game for others. Even in single-player mode, cheating confers an unfair advantage over players who abide by the rules. Ultimately, cheating tarnishes the very game we hold dear.

Cheats in Football Club 25

In FC 25, the original game developers haven’t implemented any cheat codes. Therefore, if you wish to cheat your opponents, you’ll need to resort to third-party software or employ certain tricks.

Here are some of the most common FC 25 cheats:

  • Third-Party Software;
  • Bots;
  • Buying Coins;
  • Advantage Settings;
  • Edit Players;
  • Gameplay Customisation;
  • Manual Assist.

Third-Party Software

PC is the platform more susceptible to FC 25 cheats. There are several programs designed to control the game. The most popular ones are Trainer and Cheat Engine. For example, they can change scores, game clocks, stamina, player ratings, and budgets.

The problem is that Electronic Arts is not taking any action against them, and the game is flooded with cheaters, even in a single online mode. Every year, new versions are getting more sophisticated, which means they are always one step ahead of EA anti-cheat policies.

Bots

Bots are software programs designed to continuously send requests to EA servers, keeping track of updates and automating various processes. The user specifies the price they’re willing to pay for specific cards, and when those cards appear on the transfer market, the program executes the purchase on their behalf.

Most of these programs also handle automatic sales. The key distinction between an AutoBuyer and an AutoBidder is that the former purchases items using the ‘Buy it Now’ option, while the latter places bids on items. Some advanced bots can operate autonomously, performing transactions without any manual input from the player. However, engaging in such activities carries a significant risk of being banned by Electronic Arts.

Buying Coins

Let us clarify: buying coins is against the game’s terms of service. You are not allowed to do it. Also, when you buy coins, you are making Football Club, even more, a pay-to-win videogame.

Several online stores sell Ultimate Team coins, specific players, and accounts. Any of these options are much cheaper than buying FC Points if your goal is to build a strong team.

These stores use different methods to sell without being caught by EA. The most popular are:

  • Player Auction
    You sell one of your players for the maximum price range;
  • Comfort Trade
    You give your credentials, and they do the rest;
  • Mule Account
    A third account is used to transfer the coins;
  • FC Auction House
    You list a worthless player, and the seller buys him.

Advantage Settings

In the Kick-Off mode, when a player is much better, he usually selects a weaker team, so the match gets more balanced. However, there is a better way to do it. There is a feature that lets you set different handicaps for each team.

If you find a way to access the advantage settings without your opponent seeing (R3 on the team selection screen), you will be able to change the CPU AI teammates’ difficulties, affecting how they play with and without the ball.

You can also set a starting score from the Advantage Settings screen, but we do not recommend it. Almost sure your opponent will notice it, and you will have no other option but to tell the truth.

Edit Players

This one can be used in Career Mode, Tournaments, and Kick-Off, where we think it makes more sense. If you have a favorite team, there is a hidden menu that allows you to change your players’ stats. Even the worst players in the game can become superstars.

If you know which teams your opponents use most, you can edit those players to make them worse. Remember not to switch the teams, or your trick will turn against you.

How to Edit Attributes
  1. From the FC main screen, navigate to [Customise];
  2. Go to [Create Player] and move the Right Stick to select [Edit Real Player];
  3. Choose a player and select [Athletic] and [Attributes].

Gameplay Customisations

If you aim to impress your friends while playing against the CPU, there’s a straightforward method to achieve it. In the Gameplay Customization screen, certain attributes like pace, passing, and goalkeeping are initially set to 50%, representing half of their maximum potential.

You can adjust these percentages to any desired value for both your team and the CPU-controlled team. If you prefer not to draw attention, setting attributes to 70% for your team and 30% for the CPU team can provide a noticeable advantage. Attributes such as goalkeeping ability, shot speed, shot accuracy, and pace are particularly influential and can significantly impact gameplay.

How to Edit Gamplay Customisations
  1. From the FC main screen, navigate to [Customise];
  2. Select [Settings] and [Game Settings];
  3. Press R2/RB to go to the [User Gameplay Customisation] and [CPU Gameplay Customisation] screens.

Manual Assist

Your opponent will easily catch you if you change his control buttons, but he won’t notice if you mix his controller settings.

Things like shooting, through balls, and lobbed passes are marked as ‘Assisted’ by default. This means that while you have some control over them, the game will help guide your shots to where you seem to be aiming. Top players turn these off to have total control, but if your opponent is not one of the best, you need to turn their controller’s assistance off.

How to Turn Off Assistance
  1. From the FC main screen, navigate to [Settings];
  2. Select [Customise Controls];
  3. Change everything which is set to [Assisted] into [Manual];
  4. Save and make sure your opponent plays with that controller/configuration every time.

The realm of FC 25 cheats is fraught with peril. Not only do you risk being banned, but you could also fall victim to scams. The cardinal rule is to never share your account details with anyone. To safeguard yourself, adhere to these five safety guidelines:

  • Certify if the page always starts with a URL of the type https://www.ea.com;
  • Verify that the link does not redirect you to another site;
  • Refrain from clicking on email links that request access data or claim your account is compromised;
  • Never divulge your information to anyone, not even EA Sports;
  • Avoid searching for card duplicators, coin generators, or other dubious methods to acquire coins easily, as they do not exist.
Despite these warnings, some still entertain the notion of instant wealth. However, it’s important to realize that individuals with substantial coin reserves in their accounts typically attained them through legitimate means like exceptional gameplay, trading prowess, significant investment in FC Points, or unfortunately, by deceiving other players using counterfeit cheats.

To lend credence to their schemes, scammers employ various tactics: creating fake social media pages with fabricated feedback and giveaways, uploading YouTube videos requesting login details, replicating EA’s website, sharing FUT team links that lead to untrustworthy sites, and impersonating EA employees.

Now, let’s uncover the two most prevalent fraudulent cheats:

  • Card Duplicators
    Allegedly duplicates your cards upon selection. Scammers typically ask for your account details after you choose the desired cards, only to abscond with your information.

  • Coin Generators
    This scam is straightforward. They inquire about the desired coin amount and your credentials for the deposit. Predictably, you’ll end up swindled. Some perpetrators even demand a fee for this so-called ‘service,’ ensuring they profit twice.
These are the primary measures Electronic Arts has implemented to combat cheaters:

  • Penalties
    EA has instituted a penalty system that encompasses various actions, including removal from Champions leaderboards resulting in forfeiture of rewards, wiping coins, club deletion, temporary or permanent Transfer Market lockouts, game bans from current FC titles, all FC titles, or even all EA games.

  • Trade Offer Button
    Several years ago, EA removed the trade offer feature, which allowed direct item trading among friends, as part of their anti-cheating efforts.

  • Untradeable Items
    To prevent players from transferring items from multiple clubs to their main account, EA rendered certain cards untradeable, including starter pack items, daily gifts, and other promotional items.

  • Stronger Authentication
    EA introduced a two-factor authentication system to enhance account security. This feature generates a numeric passcode valid for a short period, required for logging into accounts from untrusted devices or every 90 days.

  • Blocking System
    EA implemented a system to detect bot access to their servers, resulting in the suspension of thousands of accounts exhibiting suspicious activity. Unfortunately, this action affects many legitimate players, particularly active traders who adhere to the rules. While some manage to reclaim their accounts, others must resort to creating new accounts and refrain from engaging in market activities to avoid further bans.

  • EAAC
    EAAC is a lightweight kernel-mode anti-cheat and anti-tamper solution developed by EA to safeguard against the injection of external files and software into FC 24. It functions by interacting with the game to maintain integrity and fair play.
Yes, an EA AntiCheat system was introduced in FIFA 23. It’s a lightweight kernel-mode anti-cheat and anti-tamper solution developed by EA and evaluated by independent security development specialists unaffiliated with EA.

In essence, EAAC activates upon launching Football Club 25 and automatically shuts down when the game is closed. It actively monitors and prevents third-party applications from interacting with FC 24, thereby thwarting attempts to inject external files and software into the game. Consequently, cheats and other software modifications, including community mods, may not function properly.

Unfortunately, kernel-level cheating in PC gaming has grown more prevalent, posing challenges to conventional anti-cheat solutions. These cheats operate at a level that’s typically invisible to non-kernel level anti-cheat measures. Protecting single-player modes is crucial for safeguarding online modes, as cheat developers often exploit single-player files to develop their cheats.

FC 25 can be played offline on PC with EAAC installed. However, modes such as Ultimate Team, which require an online connection, remain online-only experiences.
