The new game mode PENTA in EA FC 25 features 4 human players plus 1 AI goalkeeper versus another team of 4 human players and 1 AI goalkeeper. Players select a player from their Ultimate Team Club to control individually. You can team up with up to 3 friends or join 3 random players. The matches take place on a smaller, grass pitch with regular kits. The mode includes various objectives, some with specific requirements like a maximum 75 rating or 85 pace. PENTA is an additional mode in Ultimate Team and does not replace Squad Battles, which is also getting revamped in EA FC 25.
