Walkout players were first introduced in FIFA 17 to add excitement to the unveiling of cards from packs. It’s not a distinct quality category for players but rather a way to distinguish the top-tier players from the rest.
The joy of pulling a high-profile player in FC 25 is heightened by the captivating walkout animation that accompanies it. Over the years, these walkouts have been refined, incorporating more celebratory background elements and unique player animations.
If they are one of the best players in their position, their flag, positions, and club (for this order) will be shown, giving you the chance to guess who they are before they are revealed.

However, in FC 25, things work differently. It’s extremely hard to identify if a card will be good or not. In addition to the glowing dots, the illumination of the upper band is also different. So, the higher the overall rating, the brighter the highlighted area in the top right corner will be.
New last year, if a single pack contains two good players, a special animation in which both share the stage will be displayed. This is named ‘Two Walkout Players’.
