FC 26 Walkout Players

Do you recognize that thrilling moment when you open a pack, and the player emerges with a special animation? That’s what we call a Walkout Player.

In FC 26, pack openings are a highlight, and EA continuously enhances this experience. Walkouts were introduced in FIFA 17 to add excitement when unveiling top-tier players. While not a quality category, they serve to distinguish elite players from the rest.

The joy of packing a high-profile player is amplified by their unique walkout animation. Over the years, these animations have evolved, incorporating more celebratory elements and personalized movements.

If a player is among the best in their position, their flag, league, and club (in this order) will be displayed, allowing you to guess their identity before the reveal.

By definition, a walkout player is 86 rated or higher, though exceptions exist. For example, some TOTW or Special players rated 84 or higher also sprint onto the screen and perform an animation.

Pack Animation

The best moment of opening FC 26 packs in Ultimate Team is getting a top-rated player and watching him literally walking out on to the field.

In previous titles, certain elements of the animation preceding a player’s entrance on stage determined the player’s quality. Those with higher ratings or special cards were accompanied by a grander display of confetti, flames, and lights.

In FC 26, it’s very easy to tell whether the card you’re opening will be a walkout or not. Unlike previous editions, you just need to look at the first second of the animation and check whether the tunnel background or the first flag showing the position appears. If it’s the tunnel, then it’s a walkout.

How to Identify a Walkout Player in FC 26

Two Walkout Players,’ or ‘Double Walkout,’ refers to a special animation that occurs when a pack contains two high-rated players, showcasing both on stage together. These cases can also be identified in advance when opening the card. If the club’s flags remains static, it means it’s a Double Walkout.
