FIFA 19 Carryover Transfer Guide for FIFA Ultimate Team

We thought that creating a guide like this wouldn’t be really necessary since most players already know what they’ll be able to carry over to FUT 19. However, we started receiving several help requests concerning this theme. A lot of our followers have started playing FUT this year, so this is completely understandable. Even we ourselves have been in this position several years ago when we first started playing and looking for the same answers. We have been receiving these questions so frequently that we felt the need to look all over the internet and see if there are many people in the same situation… and yes there are. The bad thing is that among all the answers given by the most experienced community players, there are many, many inaccuracies and contradictions.

Whoever is familiar with us knows that we don’t like to leave the slightest questions unanswered. That is why we’ll be exploring everything there is to know about the FIFA 19 Ultimate Team carrying over: what you’ll keep from the previous game, what happens if you switch consoles, what you need to do to switch to FUT 19 and how FIFA points transaction works. Transferable Items

Which items you can bring to FIFA 19

When you move to a new title, you can bring with you part of your progress in the previous game.

These ARE carried over to FUT 19:

✅ Established Date;
✅ XP Level;
✅ FC Credits;
✅ FUT Club Name;
✅ FIFA Points.

Established Date

This one is obvious: whether you are an FUT Founder or your club was established this time last year, your established date will remain the same in FIFA 19. There are many complains about established dates, so if your date was wrong in FUT 18, it will still be wrong in FUT 19. There are things that never change.

XP levelling is a system that a measures how experienced you are in the FIFA universe. Every time you earn XP, you gradually build up your levelling bar until you reach a new level. Once you unlock a level, you’ll never lose it within your account. It doesn’t matter the game mode, platform or the game on its own. Basically, you’re going to maintain on FIFA 19 the XP you have at the time. You can even go back to FIFA 18 and still earn XP. It’s shown on the superior right corner of the screen, placed below your ID. Maintaining your XP will give you some advantage over the beginners because you’ll have access to several EASFC Catalogue items they don’t.

FC Credits

FC Credits (Football Club Credits; FCC) is the coin used on EA Sports Football Club. Works exactly like the XP, being linked to your Origin account and not directly related to the FIFA you’re playing. It’s basically used to purchase EASFC Catalogue items and it’s shown immediately in front of the XP. Don’t forget to save a few FCC to purchase coin boost items at the start of FUT 19. XP Level and Football Club Credits are important FIFA 19 carryover items. Coin boosts and catalogue items at the start of FIFA 19 are incredibly useful.

FUT Club Name

One of the things EA Sports allows you to keep on FUT 19 is your club name. When you start it for the first time you’ll be asked if you wish to change it or just leave it the same. If you choose yes, you’ve got the right to keep it. You can change it later buying the club name changing EASFC Catalogue item. If you choose no, you’ll be creating a new name and the old one will be available for other people to use.

FIFA Points

FIFA Points are an alternative to coins that are used to purchase FUT packs in the store or enter FUT Drafts. If you don’t intend to spend all your FIFA Points on FUT 18, you can transfer them to FUT 19 until December 31, 2018. You can even buy some by the end of FUT 18 so you can use it in the FUT 19 release date, since it won’t be purchasable during the FIFA 19 Web App Webstart period, except if you have an EA or Origin Access membership. However, this is a one-time transfer, so you’ve got to be careful when you start the game for the first time.

FIFA Points are FIFA 19 carryover items but can only be shared between same consoles. For PC, unlike previous years of FIFA, Point balances transferred to FIFA 19 can only be used in FIFA 19.

Non-Transferable Items

Which items you can’t bring to FIFA 19

When you move to a new title, you can’t bring with you part of your progress in the previous game.

These ARE NOT carried over to FUT 19:
❌ Coins;
❌ Cards;
❌ EASFC Catalogue Items;
❌ Match History, Record and Leaderboard;
❌ Current Division;
❌ Xbox Achievements or PSN Trophies.

If you didn’t know coins can’t be transferred to FUT 19, then you must be disappointed. We’ve all been there so don’t worry, you eventually get over it. Plus buying cards won’t help since they can’t be transferred as well. Don’t know what to do with the coins you’ve been arduously collecting for a year? Give them to someone you know who will not play FIFA 19.

If you’ve got Ronaldo on your team and you’re buying FIFA 19, it’s time to say goodbye to him. None of the cards you currently have in your club will be transferred to FUT 19: not the players, staff, consumables or even your club items. Nothing. Unfortunately, the FUT cards are not FIFA 19 carryover items.

EASFC Catalogue items

The EASFC Catalogue is a kind of a store where players can exchange FC Credits for hundreds of items. For Ultimate Team it’s possible to increase the targets and transfer lists, receive coin bonuses, change the club’s name, increase the maximum number of squads, get players on loan, and even buy “super” 99 contracts for your players. Since this catalogue changes from FIFA to FIFA, you won’t be able to bring items you purchased on previous games. But don’t worry. You will be able to redeem the items of the new catalogue as long as you have enough Football credits to buy them.

Match History, Record and Leaderboard

Are you that one who’s in the Leaderboard TOP 100? Congratulations. Time to take a screenshot, otherwise this awesome deed will be easily forgotten, left behind to ashes. Your Wins/Draws/Losses history will be lost when you stop playing FIFA 18. It won’t count towards FIFA 19. And even if you decide to keep playing it, EA will put an end to it in less than 3 years because, well, they’d just rather not keep spending money on servers few people will playing at. In their words, they do this so they’re able to ‘enhance the user’s experience‘. Better just go take a screenshot then, huh ?

Current Division

Do you think that reaching Division 1 has never been so hard as it was in FUT 18? If you’ve done it, you’re probably constantly struggling not to get relegated to division 2. What if you get relegated to division 10? This is what will happen when you start FIFA 19 Ultimate Team. If you think you’ll just humiliate your opponents, just forget it. Everyone starts Seasons on a low division: the good and the bad players.

Xbox Achievements or PSN Trophies

You already know this one: new game, new achievements/trophies. Achieving objectives that each console grants you will not be related to FIFA 19, naturally, because they’re specific to each game. Waiting for a TOTW card from a pack? EA thanks your effort. Or not.

Move to FIFA 19

There is no way to bring your FIFA 18 progress to FIFA 19

FIFA 19 Carryover Transfer Guide for FIFA Ultimate Team

So much effort for nothing. A whole year trying to get the best players for your team. So many hours spent setting up auctions and then you lose everything. This is probably what’s going on inside your head now… Everyone who’s been through this knows the feeling. But believe it or not, the truth is it just goes away as soon as you start a new FIFA and you go back to chasing that perfect team once again. You’ll see…

But why do we really have to start from the bottom and not be able to keep our cards and coins?
It’s basically for three reasons:

Playing the same game all over again may not be very stimulating. It’s true that you might already have a good team and all, but going back to square one can be much more interesting than it seems to be, especially when everyone is doing the same. This year you’ve probably made a few mistakes and now it’s time to take advantage of what you’ve learned. It’s an opportunity to do it the right way to reach perfection. You can buy several managers right at the start and this will help you save tons of coins throughout the year, for example; you can buy that great player before his price starts to rise madly. Soon you’ll be resigned and will be telling yourself ‘I’m going to follow this awesome site’s tips and this time I will get a top rated player’. Every year, the FIFA community is accepting better this rule. Otherwise, in FIFA 25 every squad would have Messi and Ronaldo.

Let’s not be hypocrites. As players, there is the motivation of building a whole new team and that’s quite enough. However, for EA Sports, the only true reason to carry on would be the money. As soon as they “vanish” all those cards and coins assuming FUT 19 is a completely new game, they’re about to get some ridiculously high profit. It’s not only about forcing players to go for the new packs. It’s a completely new world for the FUT gaming community, everything loses its value from a moment to another; all the old cards and coins go to waste. Don’t think we’re talking small shares of the business. FIFA digital game sales’ annual growth rates have increased and EA Sports already makes more money selling FUT packs than the actual game.

If people would keep in FUT 19 everything they had back in FUT 18, there would be other problems concerning the game’s mechanics. It wouldn’t be the end of it, but that would certainly make the game more confusing and unfair. What’s the logic on having several different rated cards of the same player just because the season has ended? Is it fair to have your players underrated just because they’ve had a worse season? Where’s the fair play when you start the game having millions of coins while others have nothing? This would make the game unsustainable for beginners since all prices would be ridiculously high. In a way, it’s really necessary that the coin flow is managed so we can have a fair, competitive and sustainable game. And this can only be done once we start a new game.

Now that you know you’ll be having useless cards and coins, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to do with them. Most players try and enjoy them until the very end. There are also people that decide to spend them all on packs – fair enough.

The truth is that those coins could be converted to real money, but right now this isn’t really a brilliant deal. In two months before the release of the new game you won’t be getting more than 50 euros for each million of coins, and for another month past this is reduced to half. So here’s a lesson: if you want to be best rewarded for your effort you’re going to have to think about starting your business sooner next time.

If you’re a generous friend, find someone who’s not getting FIFA 19 and offer them your coins. They will certainly be very thankful. Bear in mind that very few people go back to playing an old FIFA after they’ve started playing a new one, so don’t worry about regretting a possible donation.

After so many disadvantages you might be wondering if it’s worth it or not getting the new FIFA 19. If you’re a fan of the series, it’s safe to say that we recommend it. Besides the renewed experience inside the pitch, you’ll be able to build your team based on what’s going on in the real-life football. The transfer market will allow new combinations of players and their ratings will be updated. Before you know you’ll forget what was left behind.

In order to start playing FUT 19 you obviously need to buy FIFA 19. Use the same Origin account you’ve been using so that the system recognizes all your data: FCC, XP, club name and FIFA Points. The older players’ loyalty will be rewarded with early access to the Web App around 2 weeks before the official game release date; all that followed by free starter packs.

Migration for FIFA 19 Ultimate Team

What happens when you switch console

FIFA 19 Carryover Transfer Guide for FIFA Ultimate Team

Do you know what happens when you switch your console? Do you believe it is safe to move to the new game? The FIFA 19 carryover for a new console is a topic little more complicated than it seems, so we’ll try to simplify:

From PS4 or PC to XBox One (FUT 18 > FUT 19)
From PS4 or PC to XBox One (FUT 18 > FUT 18)
From XBox One or PC ton PS4 (FUT 18 > FUT 19)
From XBox One or PC to PS4 (FUT 19 > FUT 19)
From Xbox One or PS4 to PC (FUT 18 > FUT 19)
From XBox One or PS4 to PC (FUT 19 > FUT 19)

You’ll only keep what’s linked to your Origin account. That is your XP and FCC.

From PS4 to PS4 (FUT 18 > FUT 19)
From XBox One to XBox One (FUT 18 > FUT 19)
From PC to PC (FUT 18 > FUT 19)

Switching consoles doesn’t mean any disadvantages since you use the same Playstation, Xbox and Origin accounts. We’ve talked about what’s being lost and kept earlier in this article. In other words, you will keep the XP level, FC Credits, name and FIFA Points, and you will lose the coins, cards, EASFC catalogue items, match history, current division, trophies and awards.

From PS4 to PS4 (FUT 19 > FUT 19)
From XBox One to XBox One (FUT 19 > FUT 19)
From PC to PC (FUT 19 > FUT 19)

Whoever plays FUT 19 on a console will be able to keep absolutely everything when they switch to another console. Won’t see a difference. Just use the same Origin account and you’ll be able to see the system recognising your XP, for example. However, you’ll be requested to restart Ultimate Team if you’re not logged in with your PSN ID or Gamertag. Don’t ignore this simple step.

  1. i bought fifa 19, I tried hard to acheive my ultimate team in fifa 18.
    i cant transfer my team to fifa 19?!!!!realy

  2. I think EA should move FIFA to a subscription model and allow players to pay to renew contracts of players they have.
    For players not wanting to renew. Online would be limited going forward and they can setup some sort of peer to peer server thing where players host their own events.
    Perhaps put value limits on teams to limit super teams.
    I also think they should get rid of informs and allow players to reflect current form and try making money on transactions and contracts and trades.
    I am thinking legends could be accommodated as well in this in that you pay premium to keep them and you can give them a value that limits teams when you add them. ie. prevents super teams.
    Seriously hate starting over so I don’t buy FIFA every year. They definately would get more money from me in a subscription system

  3. my ps4 broke so i had to buy a new one and when i went to log into my ultimate team on my new ps4, my team wasn’t there? How can I fix it?

  4. My establish date and club name is wrong. No transfer made from fut18 it however FIFA points and lvl have been transferred. What’s wrong ?

  7. will my fifa 18 players carry over to new season (fifa 19).if not what should I do with those players? they are high ovr players (messi, hazard, kimmich, kaka etc). will the pre season players carry over to the upcoming season… please help me……

  8. I’ve brought Fifa 18 points by mistake and already played Fifa 19 can I transfer them?

  9. Alex Ferrary-Olsen

    I’ve decided to move from Xbox One to PS4 on the release of FIFA 19, I’ve used the same origin account as I used on Xbox One and for some reason I’ve had my progress start on level 1 on the PS4? I was a really high level and had a lot of EASFC coins which I wanted to use to help me through UT :/ any help is appreciated.

  10. I dont see a reason on why we cannot transfer our hard earned legends from previous FUT. I do understand that current players cannot be transfered as the stats will change from year to year, but Legends stats remain the same and it really cost me arm and leg to do the Legends SBC in the previous FUT 18 and I beleive it is the least fair Fifa can do to their loyal cusotmers (us) and give us this privilidge to transfer our Legends.

    It is almost impossible to buy a Legend like Maradona 97 or Ronaldo or Ronaldinho …etc in the market since the prices are extreemly high and for a player to collect such amount of coins will probally need to play 24/7 a week.

    so what do you thing guys ?

  11. I bought the ultimate 19 for Xbox, now decided that I want to migrate to PS4 using the standard game. Will I loose the 40 packs or will they move to the PS4 every week?

  12. I had a question for everyone, before the game was officially released I opened a group on a webapp and bought a Point Points worth 99 Euros and I did not use Pipa Pointes and I did not notice that the console that was there was a computer. I tried to change my Sony 4 without success. I sent emails to Ea and did not help me. to do?

  13. Can i transfer fifa points from fifa 18 after playing fifa 19 or its only the first time i can transfer fp

    1. The first time you played, you probably got a pop-up asking you if you want to transfer your FIFA Points or leaving it to later. Only if you have delayed, you will have the chance to still do it.

  14. Hi i am kosung players i got from transfer market and gold lacks once i start squad building challenge
    Can i restote tje lost players

  15. Dear rodrigo
    I am losing players in fut 19 i have bought some gold packs and some players from the transfer market
    I have entered the square building challenge and at that time i return back to play single player i didnt find the players.

    More than 55 players

    Can u help in this issue

    1. Hi! I have bad news to you: every time you submit a SBC, you are giving away the players used to complete the challenge. They will not be back to you anymore. If you pay attention, you will see a message alerting you to that when submitting a SBC.

  16. I started playing FIFA 18 and made a FUT club on September 17. just started playing the ultimate edition of FIFA 19 today and saw that I didn’t get any loyalty rewards for being a returning FIFA player and my club didn’t transfer over (the name started off as a random name and I had to change it back to the name it previously was on FIFA 18). why is that? is it because the FUT club was made too recently?

  17. I have fifa coins that is more then a million in my fifa 18 will be a waste if it cant be transfer to fifa 19 fut..cant request to do something about it?i use my own hard earned money to purchase points buy packs..doing transfer and earn gold coins till over a million..i will be dissapointed if i cant carry over the gold coins..i request at least the gold coins to be allowed to be brought over to fifa 19..

  18. Hi I just put a code in to buy f18 coins and they haven’t transferred over to 19 help please

  19. I am switching from pc to ps4 for fifa 19, am i able to access the fut 19 web app? Do i need an account or something? I preorderef fifa 19

    1. You are able to do it but you will not carry over your progress from one platform to another. You will only have early access to the Web App for PC. The access for PS4 it is only possible, after you play FIFA 10 on your console.

  20. So when the web app is released (Wednesday 6pm)… fifa points cannot be used? I mean how would I obtain fifa points? Are you able to buy on the web app?
    Or basically have to wait for my early access to do this?

    1. Web App was announced for Sep 19, most likely at 6pm, but it can be released before. The earliest you can transfer your FIFA Points is during the EA Access trial, the Origin Access trial, or when you first log in to FIFA 19 once you have the full game, which means you can’t buy them on the Web App.

  21. FIFA do fruod by put this code that we can’t transfer card٫ it obligations us to spend money and buy cart ; shame to them

  22. Question…. if I buy fifa points now on fifa 18 Xbox one…. And I use the web app when it’s released…. it will carry my fifa points over and I can open packs on the web app??

    1. No. The earliest you can transfer your FIFA Points is during the EA Access trial or when you first log in to FIFA 19 once you have the full game. If you don’t have EA Access, you will have to wait for the full game release.

  23. Will the transfermarket on my accounts in the web app be open again on each one (on this fut 18 web app all of them are open)

  24. The dark knight

    Great guys we can’t carry over any progress to the next generation of FIFA, what a fool I’ve been,not that I wasn’t informed but the addiction of this game is just so overwhelming, they should provide some benefits for the existent players and specially the ones who spends dollars like water to the plants on buying the packs..!
    It’s a shame but guess what we will be knocking the doors of EA once again in the coming few weeks, we will be lured into it..

  25. Hi Rodrigo! I left the same comment on the previous post (from 17 to 18) and then i found this one 🙂

    I am about to update my PS4. I will be upgrading, and want to know whether or not I’ll get to keep my FUT18 progress (Cards, coins, etc)

    I mean, I will be using THE SAME PSN ID and THE SAME EA SPORTS ID. The only thing I’ll change is the Ps4 and the FIFA version I will be playing. Will I keep my progress or will I have to start from scratch???

  26. How do you know for sure that you’ll be able to, I tried confirming it through their support and they said it wasn’t official.

  27. I have in fut18, 30k Fp and if they something change and i cant transfer it, ill be little disapointed.

  28. IT is 100% sure to possible transfer Fifa Points from fut18 to fut19? Its there a limit how many Fifa Points are possible to transfer?

  29. I didn’t understood exactly …. can we transfer our fifa18 fifa points in the webapp starting period?
