FC 25 Dual Entitlement is a program that lets you upgrade for free from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

In collaboration with Sony and Microsoft, EA SPORTS offers Dual Entitlement, allowing players who purchase either an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 to upgrade their copy of FC 25 from prior generation Xbox One or PlayStation 4 platforms at no additional cost. This way, players won’t need to purchase Football Club twice.

How to get Dual Entitlement
- Purchase the FC 25 Standard or Ultimate Edition from your console’s store (there is a unique version for both generations);
- Go to your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One library, search by ‘FC 25’ and install it;
- Go to your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S library, search by ‘FC 25’ and install it.
Progress
All progress you make or content you acquire within FC 25 Ultimate Team (including players, items, coins, FC Points, match record, and leaderboard placement), will transfer from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and back, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S and back.

Yes, it works with both digital and physical copies. Please note that a physical copy of the game will require a console with a disc drive (PS5/Xbox Series X) in order to upgrade. Also, be aware though that physical stores also sell PS5-only packaged products which will be playable only on a PlayStation 5 console.

Yes, you can download and play the PlayStation 4 version of FC 24 on your PlayStation 5 and the Xbox One version of FC 25 on your Xbox Series X|S.
Yes, with Dual Entitlement, you’ll be able to access and play both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 version of FC 25 on your PlayStation 5 or both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S version of FC 24 on your Xbox Series X|S. In addition, you can switch back and forth between each version of the game, providing they are both installed on your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
All progress you make or content you acquire within EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Ultimate Team (including players, items, coins, FC Points, match record, and leaderboard placement) will transfer from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and back, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S and back. Progress within all other modes including Online Seasons, Co-Op Seasons, Manager and Player Career, Clubs, etc. will be specific to the console you are playing on and won’t transfer between consoles.
You can match up with and against other players based on the version of FC 25 that you are playing.
Suppose you are playing the PlayStation 4 version of FC 24. In that case, you can match up and play with and against other players playing on the same version of FC 24, regardless of whether they are playing on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. The same is true for the Xbox One version of FC 25, where you will be able to match up and play with and against other players who are playing the same version on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
If you are playing the PlayStation 5 version of FC 25, you will only be able to match up with and play against other players who are playing the next-gen version. The same is true for the Xbox Series X|S version of FC 25.
Suppose you are playing the PlayStation 4 version of FC 24.
