FC 24 Demo Details

The FC Demo is a limited version of the full game designed to show users what the game will look like, showing off new features and gameplay improvements.

Usually, Ultimate Team mode is not one of the modes available. Instead, players can try VOLTA FOOTBALL and Kick-Off mode against CPU or friends. FC Demo features only 6 to 13 teams, and progress doesn’t carry over to the final game.

Demo Alternatives

Released for the first time in FIFA 02, the demo wasn’t released in the last three years and, despite FC 24 be a new game, the demo won’t be out again for the new title.

The FIFA Demo was much appreciated by the community, who had the chance to play for free the new title before its release date. It won’t be released for FC 24 and this is not surprising since Electronic Arts doesn’t have plans to release any demo for future titles.

Early access is now exclusive for Beta Testers, EA Play subscribers and Ultimate Edition owners. The problem is that all these alternatives have limitations:

  • Only players invited have access to the Beta;
  • EA Play is in fact a 10-hour trial and is not free;
  • Ultimate Edition is paid and is only playable three days in advance while the demo version usually came out 3 weeks before.
To compensate for the demo cancellation, Electronic Arts reduced the EA Play service subscription price in the month of the game’s launch. This way, more people can try out the game before its release and promote it.

It’s important to note that the FIFA demo was usually released for the same platforms that now unlock early access for EA Play members and Ultimate Edition owners, giving this way an alternative to those players who want to try it sooner:

  • PlayStation 5*
  • Xbox X|S *
  • PlayStation 4
  • Xbox One
  • PC Origin
  • PC Steam*
  • Stadia *
* These platforms never had a demo because the last demo was released for FIFA 20. If we had a demo this year, it would also be released for these new platforms.
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, it won’t be released but we can’t say it was cancelled because never was in EA’s plans.

There won’t be any demo. If you find anything labelled as ‘FC 24 Demo’ you should avoid it because most likely it’s a scam.
This is because the publisher is instead providing fans 10-hour trials in exchange for a small fee. It also has the effect of improving the sales of the Ultimate Edition.
Trial and Ultimate Edition early access are the best alternatives to the demo.
